How often do you need to replace the muffler? Also if you're going to go aftermarket, wouldn't you buy one meant for the car anyways?

LOL.

Not LEDs. Projection HIDs. The concept is basically, arc electricity through a gas to turn it into a glowing plasma, then put a projection lens in front of it to evenly distribute the light 180 degrees, while cutting the top off so it doesn't light anything above hip height.

I live in southern California. I don't think i've ever seen rust on a car, except maybe a couple spots on the 60's era junkers that are permanently parked in peoples lawns/back yards (with grass for an engine). And even those usually don't look as bad as this.

This might be sacrilegious.... but I hope this gets HID's and DRL's similar to the Focus ST. Also ford is KILLING IT with their designs lately....

But in all seriousness, dual exhausts do look better, even if they serve no real purpose. Case in point? GTI.

DKG/PDK/etc etc are all fine and dandy if the reason you got a manual before was performance. However I generally want it for the experience, and none of the fancy double clutch stuff comes close there.

What study/documentary/etc did you glean that from? Just honestly curious because I'd love to do some reading on the subject, and I could totally see cars being more efficient. (Just like how on average across the whole country, busses put off more CO2 per person than cars, or how locally grown food also turns out to

The biggest problem with the 996 was the cracked egg headlamps.... that and perhaps the terrible interior, and slightly awkward rear end.

Nope. Everything about the grill screams ford.

That and also Aston doesn't actually try to make real/competitive cars to meet CAFE type requirements.

Yeah, he actually replied to me. Basically their lawyers came and everything was dropped. The cop probably knew they were racing, knew he couldn't prove it, but was hoping they would drop the ball getting pulled over, or he could get them for something else.

Oh also, if the were allowed to use that video as evidence.... you can clearly hear the cop saying he's "pretty sure" it was these two. Then shortly after saying "actually, i'm not, it was the two ... lanes that were the ones racing".

Hahaha, yeah. The next best thing is shortly follow on the radio: "mike, that's one of those ford uh, mustang gt 350".

That sounds about right. I mean, from the cops video I could see how it seems probable they were racing, but it's still in no way clearly the case, or obvious which of the cars were braking, or how hard they were braking, etc.

Did they wind up get prosecuted for anything? Based off the video alone I can't tell what cars had their brake lights on.... did he radar them?

Also.... it comes with the right number of pedals. :)

"Hell, at that kind of power-to-weight ratio, I'd make about 67 or 68 HP myself! That's more than what I usually drive every day!"
