SSHHHH! IT'S A CONSPIRACY!

+1 times a million.

We can speculate about that, however I really don't think the rider was being overly rude until the cop arrested him. Previous to that he was just trying to figure out why he got pulled over and the cop wouldn't provide a good reason. He could've been more polite, but the cop was clearly already in the wrong.

I didn't think you came off like that, I just think that a lot of people use those facts to belittle the cops actions. When I read your post it was clear you thought either way the cop was in the wrong. I just wanted to reaffirm how important it is to remember that even if the biker here could've minimized what

Seriously fuck this cop. Pulls some one over because he is with some other people who MIGHT be breaking the law. Can't get the guy for anything, so he ARRESTS him for a license plate? I don't know about where this occurred, but I'm pretty sure anywhere else that's a fix it ticket. Then he wasn't even BREAKING that

+1. Had a cop try to give me a ticket for riding a goped in a bike lane. I told him "The law clearly states you are allowed to ride them in bike lanes and 25 mph zones". He called me a smart ass and cracked some joke like "what are you a lawyer"(cops love saying this when you quote the law to them). Came back 15 after

+1. A cop can pretty much charge you for whatever, forcing you to spend time/money to prove your innocence, and in the end you don't win anything in terms of the damages it cost you to go through that because you were wrongly accused. Also usually nothing befalls the cop for making a bad call either.

Citizens aren't "peace officers". It shouldn't be their job to diffuse upset officers and calmly make sure the officer is aware of the laws he is or isn't breaking.

I totally agree that if you want to minimize the chance of a cop misusing their power you should be helpful and treat them with respect even if they're not doing the same. You also stated that you are not morally or legally required to act this way, it's just "smart".

Oh right, being rude is against the law. I forgot that this is 1984 and the thought police can get you for acting outside of societies norms or being disrespectful to the police.

+1. If there is a law against flipping some one off I would be VERY interested to see it. Clearly this guy wasn't citied with it so it's not really relevant anyways.

I agree with this SO hard. Officers hold no liability for their actions, when in reality they should be held to HIGHER standards. The idea that they need to given a pass because their job is hard is bullshit. It's SUPPOSED to be a hard job. That's what's protects your average citizen from just getting the book thrown

RE:"UPDATE: The car will start at $69,000 in the U.S." My $65 guess wasn't bad! :)

poor man's lambo. lol.

Haha, too good!

*don't THINK he's a real robot... wtf.

In response to that headline, roomba is quite upset you don't he's a real robot!

This looks fantastic! I only wish it was A3/1 Series sized. That would be awesome.

I was thinking that as well. That most certainly however is not a bad thing!

I don't mean to discredit her having an ED or anything... however in the headline picture here she looks to be a completely healthy weight. I just don't see the picture proving or exclaiming anything on it's own, why it was shared rather than just her words on the matter?
