The part of me that wants to think the best of people says they don’t do that because they feel like they can use their morals and ethics to sway policy. Whereas if they out everything and then get fired, their morals and ethics don’t accomplish anything.

This wing of the GOP is also responsible for the incompetency of the Democratic Party. Instead of pushing for more liberal policies, Dem politicans (a la Joe Biden) have tried to pander to this group with the misguided assumption that doing so will help them beat Donald Trump.

From what I’ve seen a lot of younger NBA players saying, the guys they looked up to the most were Kobe and LeBron. They weren’t around to see Jordan, so I’d say for people that age or younger, they’ll probably side with the “LeBron is the goat” argument.

On a serious note, there’s a lot of evidence in the medical community that people with heart attacks, strokes, etc. are dying more because they’re either not going to the hospital ASAP or simply not going at all.

On a related note, there’s a sheriff in AZ who is openly refusing to enforce social distancing rules.
