While I do agree, it is a church. You have to ask for forgiveness for having meat on Friday. This is a clear step to stop ostracizing women who get abortions from their church communities. And that is important and shouldn’t be treated like this was a bad thing the Pope did.

i get the snark, but really, for women of faith, this is a huge deal to them. Right or wrong, they feel like they’ve sinned and need forgiveness. This is a good thing.
