I’m just still waiting for us to get an actually great video game adaptation. I’m not holding out any hope though lol

It’s weird how in the early 00s I pirated everything because I was young and had no money, and then technology made games and movies and music available easy and cheap and almost instantly, and I could afford the modest price for it and stopped entirely... and now thanks to the companies using that same technology,…
I was one of the apparently rare weirdos who loved the game at launch. It probably helped that I didn’t pay uch attention to the hype - I just saw a few trailers, thought “ohhh psychedelic dicking-around-in-space simulator? SOLD” and I got exactly that. And then it just kept getting better and better. I’m glad most…
So the original trilogy and prequel trilogy parts are totally new now? I played the original Lego games but it’s been so long, I didn’t know if this was a remake/remaster or what
What a hilariously misinformed take. Like the game or not, it sold mountains of copies.
Man, I jump into NMS once a year every year and end up spending 30-50 more hours. Best $60 I ever spent on a game. It was amazing to suddenly have 60fps on ps5 day one too!
I loved the game but I don’t understand how NG+ is such a big deal to anyone.. on any game really. like it’s a cool feature to have, but is it that big a deal?
Nah, it requires communication with other players. Maybe that means a guide for some, but it just means talking with friends who are also playing and asking questions in the subreddit for me. I like that the game actively encourages this, but I get how a totally self-contained experience is preferable to some folks.
I found him during my first couple hours of playing and just now remembered he exists because of this article. Never found that cave.
In Sekiro, you level up yourself as a player.
I’ve never heard that before but “Alan Moore’s Harry Potter” just made me laugh really hard
I came here to make sure Sleeping Dogs was on the list. Good job! Just bought it on PC after playing it on ps3 years ago because it was $3 and hey I could play it at a good framerate now!
This is why I played the game as a true white hat, pacifist. Killed no one, did everything clean and stealthy. Felt perfect. No dissonance.
yeah the upgrade process on PS5 is not ideal. heck even now with a disc ps4 game with a free ps5 version, it’ll still show you the disc icon version of the game on your main menu, and you have to make sure to go over a tile to the ps5 version lol
it should! I bought a ps5 only copy, but on games I’ve upgraded before, with the ps4 version of the game already on the console, you either just have to import or it’ll just be there when you open the game.
You’ve been playing the PS4 version on your PS5. On the same console, the PS5 version literally takes 1-2 seconds for fast travel, and I dunno about initial load, maybe 10-20 seconds? I haven’t played in a bit.
yeah, I never noticed any shimmering on my 4k tv, but I did notice her apparently sentient hair whipping around like doctor strange’s cape lol
I bought a ps3 in 2012 when the system was on its way out, and had instant access to a whole generation of exclusives. totally worth the $200 or whatever I paid, and I still keep the system plugged in because now my kid can play all those games (controllers this gen are too big for little hands) and since it looks…
God I wish SE had let eidos montreal finish their Deus Ex trilogy. such a terrible publisher, never satisfied with anything they sell.
I’ve played and loved many of the games you listed, but none of them fit the description aside the Wolfenstein games which I admittedly forgot about. Those rocked indeed. I’m talking about straightforward story based fps, not open world games, not loot games, not MMOs, not RPGs, not twin stick, not third person, not…
