And I feel good about no car payments. Sheesh.

I would KILL to be from Saskasplatoon, Switchskatchewan.
Qu’Appelle was never the same after they fired Steve le’Jobs.
Eh, me and the missus were able to pay off our mortgage here years ago, so we have more disposal income to lose ourselves in pricier, quality booze. The drinking and Qu’Appelle Valley hikes eat up most of the leisure time.
The should rename it Switchskatchewan.
Tim Curry is the only part that really works, but he is so great that I blame him for my fear of clowns (probably saw the miniseries at age 7 or 8).
The Ixtra Terrestrial?
Yah, to be fair I probably shouldn’t have taken the stories for granted, but there were a few of them on this site, so I figured it was at least mostly fair game. Thanks for the heads up.
One of the things I wrote a lot about in my review was how the game treated Mario. It definitely approached him and his world with more of a sense of meta-humor than we’re used to, breaking the fourth wall to make jokes and cherry-picking iconic Mario Bros.
On the game addiction front, I’ve definitely been doing that self-reflection lately. I plan on staying far away from the upcoming Monster Hunter World, because as much as I love those games, it will ruin me.
Skyrim has a major feature that BOTW lacks: constant game-breaking bugs and save file corruption. Nintendo would do well to learn from the masters at Bethesda as such bugs provide a rich community of fans theory crafting all manner of justifications for why such bugs are unavoidable.
The inability to sort and separate and contain content is just destroying the AV Club as a whole. It’s just un-usable.
It is a weird choice to publish everything on the main page and THEN “share” it in the Games section, rather than vice versa..
Salutations~!
Why is this not appearing under the Games section? I only found it in the endless scroll beneath another article. God damn it, Kinja.
To people in other cultures, it could be considered arrogant to say “I think I know what’s better than the professional who created said product”. Again, I’m not saying I don’t like customizing- just talking about how things are viewed in other cultures.
Your still thinking of this from a western POV. It will never make absolute sense to us because that’s how we grew up. There’s no need to present it that way in that culture. Its understood just as its understood to you that the customer should be allowed to customize. To an outsider, maybe it should be presented that…
I’m not defending or attacking it, just stating how it is (broadly- there are always exceptions). Certain things will seem logical to us that are completely bonkers to the Japanese, and vice versa. There’s just so many underpinnings to how we think which are engrained in our minds from a very young age and how we…
And they’re all at different bars texting each other individually about the same conversation.
But over here we can talk about it without a shitty commen-oh.
