probably figured her acting would be better. adults pretending the puppet is real is far from the most problematic thing that happens to child actors...

To all the greys insisting that her *other* career is how she should be identified:

From my experience with injuries, doctors were telling me to move as much as I could bear within a few weeks of getting out of hospital. Your body will literally begin to atrophy with 2 to 3 weeks of no activity. You shouldn’t be lifting objects or doing any kind of labor, but walking and regular day to day movement

Almost no injuries these days REQUIRE bedrest particularly in the absence of head injuries. Back up and streaming is more impressive though I will admit.

I think thats what all that rehab right after the surgery is for.  Too much bed rest is bad for the back and also leaves you susceptible to clots and other cardiovascular issues.

I can’t believe she’s up and back to streaming so soon. I would’ve assumed injuries like this would require at least a couple months of bed rest.

She deserves every dollar she’s gonna get for this mishegas, but it’s probably going to take a while, unfortunately. Assuming that both Twitchcon and the promotional company have insurance, they’re going to be fighting to make the other side take full responsibilty, so it’s unlikely there’s going to be a settlement

The only weird thing about this is that’s it’s the hill you’ve chosen to die on

My dude actual grownups working with muppets interact with them like they’re real people and not something with a dude’s hand up their ass

because children grow up with adults, including their parents, telling them he’s real

She was seven. Kids generally stop believing in Santa a year or so past that. And don’t get me started on full-grown adults who pretend Jesus is real.

So, Twitter is dead, content creators are going to flee, Twitter will become a Q-anon haven, and basically just be another honeypot for the FBI to listen in, just like Parler.  Got it.

The accident that has stuck with me was from 2007 at Kentucky Kingdom. A cable snapped on the Tower of Power (a sudden drop ride). The cable wrapped around the feet of a 13-year-old girl on the ride. When the car dropped, the cable sheared off both her feet. Horrifying.

What we can learn: Don’t touch people who are being electrocuted.

I’d love to know what percentage of sponsored posts come from iOS devices. I can’t imagine it’s too large; I use facebook marketing pretty extensively, and fb’s apps are rough enough when it comes to monetized posts and ads that I exclusively use a desktop based browser.

Yeah there is no way that this is going to be a real place. It’s just going to be the worlds biggest ditch that is going to confuse the hell out of future archaeologists.

In a civil trial you don't have to prove beyond a reasonable doubt which is the standard for criminal cases.  In this case it was "preponderance of the evidence" a much lower standard.

I haven’t read anything since the ruling from the jury about their decision, but Spacey’s team was able to establish two very strong arguments that may have been influential. First was that Rapp’s story described a one bedroom apartment while Spacey had a studio at the time. Second Rapp said his decision to speak out

I haven’t seen any jury interviews. There’s a piece on the verdict on a site called Deadline.com that purports to briefly summarize the closing arguments. It looks like Rapp was inconsistent in some of the details about the incident. However, I think it’s probably the battery of neuropsychological tests Rapp’s
