Is that grille in the first shot, an Easter egg hearkening back to old rotary dial phone handsets?

Expect it to be sold under the moniker, FXXK-IT.
When I was in my early 20's, just out of college, I drove a then, 6-year-old Ford Escort. It wasn’t a fancy car, but it was in nearly perfect condition and it was far better than the $500 beaters I had been driving in High School and College.
Oh, you want to race, Dumb Dumb!?
Ah, gotcha - no argument there. Even with tried and tested tires, strapping oneself into a top fuel dragster requires a level or courage (or stupidity) that I have not yet attained...
Not really comparable. To start, the drive tires on dragsters range from around 4-22 psi depending on the class. Moreover, the Bugatti takes almost a minute to complete a top speed run, whereas the top fuel dragsters are hammering their runs out in about 4 seconds...
Oh man! I really like the Figaro, but I think I’d have to go w/ the Pao, just because I don’t think the Figaro came w/ a Manual...I love some of the more utilitarian design elements on the Pao, anyways.
Just saw the first one I’ve seen in the wild last week. It is kind of oddly proportioned (following behind it, I thought it was a lowered Model X, until it turned and I realized that it had traditional rear doors), but I actually like it. Hope they’re able to meet the demand, and improve build quality. I’d definitely…
“A common statement heard since the year 2010 1975...”
Not for me, but this is a definite Nice Price for someone who needs an affordable family hauler or maybe a band-van...
Aren’t there non-functional bowsprits on some motor yachts that would be roughly analogous to a hood ornament?
I thought about that too, but most rear-engined cars from that era (VW, Tatra, Fiat, Skoda, etc) were air-cooled.
Aren’t hood ornaments essentially a skeuomorphic design detail, hearkening back to when they were integrated into exposed radiator caps? Since most radiators are front mounted, it would have been nonsensical to see a hood ornament on the back of the car.
There are still a few “Hand Wash” car washes around my area. If the weather is too cold to wash my car in the driveway, I can pay $15 to have someone else do essentially the same thing.
There’s already evidence that the guy didn’t know what he was doing...and there is just way too much wiring in this bike to buy someone else’s project. I’ve been in project bike hell, re-wiring an old 1970's Yamaha DT, which is about as spartan an electrical system as you can find on a bike. I’ll be damned if I’m…
Gut-wrenching to see that W113 Mercedes smoldering in a pile. So sad...
I really liked this car until now...Too bad the interwebs doesn’t come with an “Unsee” button. ;)
You misunderstood - “These” meaning the Arcimoto. The Fiat 500 is great. I drive an Abarth, and the only reason I didn’t pull the trigger on the used 500e, is that I don’t have space in my garage for another car, and I am unwilling to give up the Abarth.
Yakima is surrounded by the Yakima Valley AVA, and is also responsible for something like 78% of the United States Hops production. Consequently, they’ve seen a lot of beer, wine, and cider money “pouring” in over the last 10+ years. I expect that is not an insignificant factor in this development plan, for better or…
I just talked myself out of buying a used Fiat 500e for sale at a local dealership for $8000.
