I was right with you until the last two... The 3rd Gen Supra is certainly a pleasingly attractive design, but I’ve always found it to be very derivative of trends that were previously set by the FB RX-7 and the Z31 Nissan 300ZX. I’d put this one in 2nd place due to its clear intention to be inoffensive.

Might wanna check your sources there, man. Mazda hasn’t used a Ford engine and or chassis platform since 2012 or 2013 when the 3rd Gen Mazda3 debuted on the Skyactiv Chassis (replacing Ford’s C1 architecture). I believe the 2nd Gen Mazda6 had a Duratec V6 option still, but that went out the door with the 3rd gen as

Woah, woah, woah... Knives Chau also (presumably) gets Young Neil. ;)

This.

Unless you have a turbo-encabulator...with their cardinal grammeters, they produce way more than 24V.

Cool! The clock in my C107 was actually an electrically wound mechanical clock. If they weren’t so pricey, I’d buy one to turn into a desk clock like this!

Okay this thing makes more power than both of my bikes (‘07 Triumph Bonnie, and ‘16 Ducati Scrambler) COMBINED. Clearly, it’s a beast that would have no problem running up to the ton in first or second gear...hardly a “Small displacement” bike.

In what world is a liter-bike “small displacement?” We’re talking about a bike that weighs around 500lbs, and producers 105hp with a redline at around 12k rpm, not a Honda Cub...

I don’t know if I feel better knowing that new, 3-door GTI’s still exist, or worse because I can’t have one!

So, I’m guessing based on the list of work and the shared photo-shoot, that to have an 8 Series in this type of condition would cost roughly the same as a new(ish) Aston Martin?

Yeah...it is still ugly AF. Looks like the car a 17-year-old boy sees when he looks at a Rorschach test after staying up all night playing Gran Turismo Sport.

I thought that was just in the US market. Did they stop w/ 3-Door GTI’s altogether?

My dad got me a Car & Driver subscription when I was about 10 years old and I remember when the issue featuring this car came out. The first time I saw one on the road I flipped out like I was seeing a Lamborghini Countach or something...

My dad had an early 80's Toyota 4x4 when I was young (similar to the one pictured above, but with the painted white, pinstriped steel wheels that were so ubiquitous on 4x4's at the time).

I’m not sure how I feel about the preponderance of stacked vertical lines on the back...it kind of looks like the side of a stack of pancakes. Hmmm...now I want pancakes. Is it time for breakfast?

I wonder if these proboscis noses on some of the F1 contenders are as ugly in person as they are in photos. The only front clip that looks decent to me so far this year is the Merc - although the Ferrari is much better than it was a few years back when it looked like an aardvark.

I still want this van so badly! The 6-year-old kid in me wants to dress up like BA Baracas while I drive it. The (Almost) 40-year-old in me recognizes that it would be an objectively terrible driving experience, and a middle-aged white guy trying to look like Mr. T would probably be seen as racist. Getting old sucks.

My 450SLC w/ Trunk mounted Sunroof motor, included this handy little tool that enabled you to use the lug wrench to open/close the sunroof from the trunk, if necessary.

...very carefully.

I’d say this is crackpipe for most people, but it might not be a terrible investment for a particularly eccentric MOPAR collector (I know that’s a bit redundant). This could be parked next to a Shelby Daytona, OMNI GLHS, Spirit RT, and Shadow Competition, to round out an epic collection of high-performance
