The oddest part of tonight’s Batwoman for me was them talking about Black Panther and Shuri, confirming the MCU films exist in the Beeboverse.

I really wish this wasn’t getting dumped as a binge. I assume it’s only happening so that it qualifies for this year’s Emmys, which is probably futile anyway, as there are dozens of mini-series going up for a handful of awards, and The Queen’s Gambit will probably win them all.
It’ll always be Genis-Vell for me. Still annoyed we didn’t get Phyla-Vell in GotG.
It’s impressive that Lolly Adefope is on four different TV shows at once (this, Ghosts, Miracle Workers, and This Time with Alan Partridge), even if Partridge under-uses her.
Pretty much what I’ve come to expect from Netflix originals. A few good-looking ones in there, but most of them I’ve already forgotten.
Pretty much all of the supporting cast are comedy people.
He’s much better as a comedy actor than an action star, but doesn’t seem to want to do that anymore.
I haven’t seen it since I was a kid, so anyone over 50 was ancient to me. I think they were around retirement age though? Definitely older than on the series.
There’s a Christmas special from 1993 where Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm are married with kids, and Fred and Barney are really old. It was very weird for me as a kid, knowing only animated characters to be frozen in time, for several decades to have passed since the main series.
it’s not like we’d complain about seeing Julia Louis-Dreyfus show up in the MCU proper
That was... pretty much what I expected. The big action scene had some good moments, but didn’t make much sense and lacked stakes. I never had any of idea of the geography of where anyone was or how close they were to each other. People cheering Sam downing a helicopter feet away from them was odd too. They were so…
UPDATE: Here’s that info I was looking for:
Is there anything known about Master of None S3 other than “it was filmed in England?” I’ve seen nothing on the cast, story, writers, anything.
Hilary Duff, fresh off her role in Younger which is currently on its final season, will join How I Met Your Father as narrator.
Dare Me was a USA show, though it would have fit in well with YOU as a show Netflix picked up and everyone forgot was on proper TV before.
Medium take: As sucky as parts of Crystal Skull are (the third act is awful), it’s still a better movie than the dreck that is Temple of Doom.
Slightly confusing that we’re getting a TV series and movie called “The Power” in the same year. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt10369484/reference
He literally said the same in a NY Times piece. https://www.nytimes.com/2020/02/18/movies/ben-affleck.html
Very rude of them to do this while Griffin McElroy is on paternity leave and can’t grieve.
According to this, they keep the rights to Godzilla as long as they keep making Godzilla movies: https://variety.com/2019/film/asia/japan-godzilla-toho-expansion-in-hollywood-1203192294
