They’re still releasing everything theatrically outside the US (and hopefully, like WW84, we’ll get them before the US). I think they’ll still come to VOD after a month though.

It depends on whether you count S2, which was just two TV movies, which were then split up and aired regularly (like the Futurama DVD movies).

Do we know how many episodes this is planned to run? It’s been three episodes and it already feels like they’re stretching things out to fill time.

I spent the last few weeks watching late-series The Practice (S6-8), and now that I’m done with that, I could use some more David E. Kelley. Plus, LaToya reviews!

I’m looking forward to whatever he does next.

He even actually recorded the lines for Solo, and only found out he was being replaced when he tried to get tickets to the premiere.

I’m glad this show isn’t casting people fifteen years apart in age and pretending they’re all the same age. The only real outlier is Barinholtz, and they can probably just say he’s older than the others and was kept back.

Instead of doing a deep dive into one Wikipedia article, we’re going to do a bunch of quick hits on short articles that are nonetheless fascinating. We’ll take several short steps further down the wormhole next week.

The big action scene was fantastic, and mostly made up for the rest being fairly average. 

Does anyone remember Still Star-Crossed, Shonda’s last period piece? It was so bad ABC tried to sell it off to a streaming service, but Shonda wouldn’t let them.

Maya Erskine is 33, and Oh played her mother on a great episode of Betas, a show nobody but me remembers.

I liked the Uncle Meme sketch, but the timing was definitely off, both with the delay between Mulaney setting up the next image and it actually appearing, and the very odd ending. It felt like a dress rehearsal rather than the finished sketch.

I wish they hadn’t gone back to Tatooine so soon. I much prefer when the show is doing its own thing rather than retracing the movies’ footsteps. At least it was far better than last season’s Tatooine ep.

That is if they’ve started up production again, AND if they’re letting people fly in from America again.
