It should probably be pointed out that Power Rangers is still running; it’s in its 27th season and has aired 900+ episodes: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Power_Rangers_episodes
Loved Piranesi. I listened to the audiobook version, read by Chiwetel Ejiofor, which is excellent.
Also, George’s sister grows up to be the Anna Chlumsky character in Hannibal.
My favourite thing about this movie is that aside from Neeson, who’s in every scene, all the other billed actors (Banks, Wilson, Farmiga, Neill) are in it for 10-15 mins max, while the actual supporting cast is a bunch of people nobody had heard of (including Florence Pugh).
I mean, there seem to be some reasons:
There’s Irene Adler, but oops, they killed her at the start of the last movie.
There’s also the PSX, which is what people called the Playstation in shorthand for far too long.
Gangs of London is a lot of fun, and has some fantastic action set-pieces from Gareth Evans. As you’d expect from Evans, it’s very violent though.
This is another weekend with far too many new streaming movies/TV shows to watch.
I’d missed that Josh Ruben directed this thing. I’ve been randomly watching a lot of his old CollegeHumor stuff recently.
He was originally hired to play Death, before they knew if they could get William Sadler back.
Give me an Anthony Carrigan spin-off. Or just give Anthony Carrigan a movie. Or another TV show. Just give me more Anthony Carrigan.
I’m struggling to think of a TV show that fits in less with The CW’s standard fare than an Italian financial thriller starring Patrick Dempsey.
It might be as I’ve never seen the original, but Lowery’s Pete’s Dragon remake is the only one of these live-action remakes worth watching as an actual film.
Wedding Band definitely deserves a One-Season Wonders, etc column.
That’s the only episode I’ve seen, and it was while I was staying in Naperville.
they dissect specific details momentarily spied in the trailer, wringing a 21-minute episode from three minutes of footage
Looking forward to seeing it; The Rider was great.
