“It makes people happy and it funds some good causes. It’s a lot of extraneous cash that you can donate to Rainforest Trust and you can still go out to dinner that night.

Yes, this is a brand-new term that no one has ever used before.

My theory: He wondered aloud whether it made sense for Jean Grey to wear a flesh-colored body suit with a blue thong on top, and Marvel executives beat him to death.

The subhed on this article is wholly unrelated to any of the facts contained therein. Simple lack of editorial chops, or were we all supposed to be baited by a baseless implication that DeMayo’s race and/or sexuality were somehow factors in his dismissal?

you’re next you little worm

Well, all the people mentioned in this story seem just perfectly reasonable, down-to-earth sorts. /s

Pretty impressive feat that in a piece that features both Kanye and Trump, Antonoff still comes off as an even bigger insufferable asshole.

I would never defend kanye west but holy crap I’d love to break that nerd’s stupid glasses

Did you even read his post or comments? He liked a couple of critical comments and then directed people to stop commenting on his personal life posts, and created one space for them to do so. He has made no comments even alluding to martyr-dom and has said extremely little about the show other than “don’t blame me” to

specifically so people would stop arguing about season 4 on his post about his father dying.

The hilarious thing is that while AVC is trying to drag the guy here, over on the AVC review of True Detective’s last episode the majority of people seem to agree with him that the show was mediocre at best and the final episode was garbage.

I think he’s a knob and that TD season 1 was only decent because he had Cary Fukunaga babysitting him, but to be fair, you edited out the part of his post where he said he created the thread specifically so people would stop arguing about season 4 on his post about his father dying.

I’m back to thinking he’s cool after reading this herb ass post!

I still like rooting for you guys. You are like the New York Knicks of countries.

I didn’t watch a whole lot of Noah’s Daily Show, but even just watching these two new Stewart episodes shows the big difference in just how physical a comedian he is in comparison to his successor/predecessor. A lot of the laughs Stewart gets are the way he just looks so morose or embarrassed or cheeky depending on

The older they get, him and Colbert get less and less funny and more and more...idk the word, strident. Like yeah, I know, Trump’s bad, I don’t need a lecture from the Man Show guy to tell me so.

I expect the number of people swayed towards Trump because Stewart commented on what’s readily evident about Biden is approximately zero.

Right?  Every criticism of Biden was followed up with Trump doing the exact same thing.  Did anyone complaining actually watch it?

I remember Jon making it pretty clear Biden’s not nearly as bad as Trump.

I think it’s weird how “bothsidesism” has become a thing, as though refusing to criticize one’s own side is the gusty and non-lazy option. Same with “whataboutism”, as though “What about.....?” questions are bad.
