Don’t worry, that’s a regular troll in these parts.

It’s got great story and characters. They’re like big soap opera crime stories. There’s a lot of fighting in the game, and it’s pretty satisfying. There’s plenty of side missions (which usually involve more ass-kicking and can get pretty wacky, sometimes) and mini-games, like golf, darts, pool, batting cages, arcades…
Yeah, leveling up helps a lot. Also, when fighting multiple oponents you have to mix things up not to get caught with that little recover time.
3’s not really expensive. At Amazon, it goes for 17 to 25 bucks. 1 and 2 are pricier, I guess. If you know Japanese, you can download an HD remaster at the Japanese PSN store. The only other cheap option, I guess, would not be so legal.
He is. Good thing he’s in 5, too.
Definitely
A good side to poor sales is that only the first game on PS2 had English dubs. All the others have subtitled Japanese, which is even more important in this series since the games are so Japanese.
Skyrim and Fallout, maybe.
Well, you can start with Yakuza 0 when it comes out in the west. Since it’s a prequel, you can tell yourself you’re just playing them in chronological order.
Keep in mind, life can get very wacky in Japan, apparently.
You do.
While it’s no Arkham series combat system, you certainly don’t have to stop in place for a second before the next attack. I guess you have to play more of the games to get a feel for it. There’s a good variety to combat, too. There are different combos, you can pick up weapons and also use a variety of weapons you can…
I don’t think Bethesda’d have anything to lose if they’d let the developers of Wasteland 2 make Fallout spinoff, I think it’d just attract more people to the franchise and they wouldn’t have to spend much money. And I really hope they’ll let Obsidian do a “New Vegas 2”.
Actually, he didn’t include himself explicitly in the “long-time fans” group, he just made a fair assumption that fans of 1 and 2 would like the change in perspective, since that’s how those games were. Then, in the second part of his sentence, he criticises the game without saying explicitly that’s the opinion of…
Good job to have.
Sure, many things are better than X7, and X6 too. You don’t need to play X8 if you don’t wanna. It’s not a spectacular game, but it’s pretty good, all the same.
Yep, looks like that Bomberman reboot.
X7 wasn’t actually the last one they did. X8 was also on PS2 and it’s a much better game than 7.
I know it’s on PSN for PS3. Not sure if it also works for PS4.
Actually, I encountered the same situation in Fallout 3. I was crossing an overpass when I noticed a lot of red on my compass to one side of it. When I went to take a peek, there was a group of Raiders who had built a track for molerat races. The molerats were going at it and the Raiders cheered from the sidelines.…
