Someone should teach the kid to stop feeling humiliated. One person can do something to another person which may result in humiliation, but only if the second person allows it. Which is, I will admit, a difficult concept to get across to a child but what the teacher did wasn’t humiliating and it’s a slippery slope

Schumer’s success is only a detriment to Bamford if you believe that women inherently must compete with one another and that there’s only room for one of them.

I’m not denying that it happens. It’s just incredibly unlikely to happen to me. I don’t drink, I don’t use drugs, I’m 6'3" and 280 pounds, I live/work/socialize in a very safe area, and I don’t travel often. I’m as low risk as they come.

I think you’re on to something. This could simply be spillover from a concerted effort to demonetize extremists on YT.

Got around eighty hours out of it, so I can’t really complain, but my most satisfying moment was when I uninstalled it and decided I wouldn’t be going back until someone had shaken the busy work and frustration out of it.

So much confusion in the replies.

There’s no money in writing articles about why night clothes make perfect sense, is there?

You just have to believe in yourself and any dream is possible.

A killer app probably won’t come from a AAA developer. I mean, it might, but I think the thousands of indie developers who’ve been working on VR experiences from a soon as they were able to are more likely to come up with something which catches the wider public’s imagination.

Stadiums are only bad ideas for cities in the socialist United States because they insist on subsidising professional sports with tax payers’ money, instead of spending it on drugs and hookers the way politicians are supposed to.

That’s my point. I think PSVR is going to take VR mainstream, and only then will people start seeing something like the Vive as aspirational, and not dismiss it outright.

There may be a reason that she has a strong instinct to have her ID readily available, no matter how well-known she is. Possible a lifetime of experience.

I know. But a boy can dream.

I’m excited about VR, and I have a PSVR on order (don’t even have a PS4 yet) but I was really hoping there’d be a killer app by now.

It’s okay. I never thought you sounded trustworthy. Or rational (that’s a term we use when talking about someone’s mental state).

I don’t think anyone “got” that. Most of the Western world is trying to reduce prison populations through education and counselling. I would suggest that an indication of desperation in an economy is deriving income by inventing laws to trap people in prisons run by corporations.

If you’re demeaning the accuracy of what he says because of grammar and Godwin, you’re possibly missing the point. Meanwhile your snide irony makes you trustworthy, or something.

Why not on PBS? Does everything have to have a profit motive?

I think you’re misdirecting your blame here. Prisoners can be as pro-troop and patriotic as you or the next guy, and as likely to be put to work by a sleazy company as well. It’s not like a prisoner stood up one day and decided he was going to bid on a government tender.

“Republican men find her hot?”
