Yeah, but you can easily have one with a jar of alfredo sauce

I am honestly delighted at how passionate people are about their lack of culinary breadth.

I FEED ON THE PESCA-HATE nom nom nom

One of my family’s best Thanksgiving meals in a while was due to hunger-fogged shopping expedition in Costco.

It is really, really good. And it slow cooks all day so you can enjoy time with your family. Highly recommended.

Whenever I make this for mixed company, the meat eaters end up eating most of it. Cabbage, when done right, is really delicious.

I think some of this is regional (on a coast you’re not going to have an issue with serving fish) and cultural (your family is full of diehard turkey fans)... but pescatarian is a pretty popular designation. There’s certainly a lot of room between fish and ham. One of the points in here was also that serving fish

I know some of these fish like tuna can become monstrous sizes, including halibut, but I’ve also fished for, bought, and prepared smaller halibut.

Fish or family. You don’t have to keep both:)

I would gladly do salmon filets for Thanksgiving if I could. I love salmon and would do something like this: https://cooking.nytimes.com/recipes/5703-salmon-roasted-in-butter

Yes chef

7 fishes anyone?

Yes - Viva Vivobarefoot! (and Xero shoes)

RIP the Touch Bar, absolutely.

That image may be the most evil thing this week. Perhaps it could only be worse if Betsy was dressed in flag fabric.

Sounds like you’d like a classic peach crisp. Did you see this one I did over the summer? https://lifehacker.com/bake-your-overripe-peaches-into-this-crisp-1850774229

Hard disagree. It’s not something I’d do every day, but mine was well worth it.

I will miss seeing your extremely interesting, helpful and many times hilarious articles on this site. Lifehacker has many good writers, and you were one of my favorites. Best of luck to you, and I’ll be seeing you on Instagram.

Lifehacker just won’t be the same without you, Claire.

I’m working through it faster than I thought I would. I don’t know why I doubted my abilities.
