Canadian Mazda5 work in progress — Definitely no Delica. Bigger tires and a bit of a lift in all corners. Would’ve loved to get another inch or two lift, but I care too much about the front CV joints to do so. Would’ve also loved to add a more rugged tire on for the heck of it. Meanwhile, I try to take my car that’s been sitting around for the winter out for a spin and I’m plagued with rusted brakes, leaky shocks, and sluggish acceleration.

Yeah, snow tires make all the difference — especially when you opt for a good set of snow tires. I also had an ‘07 Mazda3 and didn’t have any complaints about snow performance. We now have a 2013 Mazda5 with a good set of snow tires and a little bit of a lift all around for better clearance in deep snow. 

There’s yer problem — no engine in there.
