Quite a bend in the rim. That thing’s gonna get massive vibration at highway speeds.

I live in Ontario and totalled my car last winter trying to avoid a deer (that’s a whole ‘nother story). Anywho, I rented a car from Enterprise in Huntsville, Ontario — this is in the Muskokas, so I would’ve assumed perhaps they’d equip their rental cars with snow tires because, y’know, Muskoka winters are known for…
Actually, I take back my DeLorean submission. This is the best set up I can think of. So many cruises throughout USA. And would cost only a quarter per trip!
I always had a spot in my heart for this setup.
I’d rather fight as warriors! Hand to hand! It is the basis of all combat! Only a fool trusts his life to a weapon!
I learned the hard way to not over-torque shock mount nuts on a Mazda5. Just finished replacing rear shocks (quick job, done it before many times), but heard a rattle right after doing so. Decided to check all the nuts. Snapped one of the bolts which turns out are welded to the van’s body. Had to tear out all the…
Mazda2. Why? Because I’m selling mine and would like it goooooone.
If wired improperly, there could very well be a blazing Altima before us.
fire la la la la la la la ahhhhhh!
No word yet... I was stating AWD as a separate, yet exciting feature to add to the list. On one hand, I feel like Mazda’s catching on to what the enthusiasts really want... but on the other hand, the realism in me doesn’t believe it’ll happen. And if it doesn’t, I bet there’ll be a ton of auto to manual conversion…
A manual [and AWD] hatchback from Mazda that looks like an Alfa Romeo Brera
Massive toe-in at the rear. Too much negative front camber.
Crack pipe.
Just came across a post from Mazda Canada on Instagram announcing the availability of AWD on the Mazda3 — I responded with a very loud and enthusiastic “WHAT!”
Tried to explain to the co-workers... they just don’t get it.
Storage issue aside: Ever consider Craigslist? You could easily get a set of ‘lightly used’ summers and winters, both sets mounted on steelies for the price of a single set of tires and rims new. Sure, you have less say in the brand and model of tire available, but if you’re persistent and patient, you can stumble…
Please send PPT file as template... would like to have a little “I-need-a-promotion-and-let-me-show-you-why” chat with the boss.
Thanks kindly.
Not this one in Fredericton, NB. This one is having a wheelie bad week.
I’m determined to make hubcaps for my winter wheels that look just like this.
Yeah, we definitely regret the lack of towing capacity for the 5 and no power doors especially with the little ones constantly reefing on the handles in hopes to open them — I’m waiting for those to break off soon.
Interestingly, across the pond, the 5/Premacy does come with a towing capacity rating, power sliding…
What’s incredible is how few mechanical repairs Jamie has had to do to this machine in the roughly 140,000 miles he’s had it. “[I have never touched] ANYTHING related to suspension or driveline,” he me.
Does it support GameShark?!
This is the problem with Mazda and their ‘zoom-zoom’ mentality. Sure, factory set negative camber is fine on an MX5 or even the Mazda3, but seems silly when a Mazda5, with its already droopy rear suspension, needs to have tire-munching camber. I’ve already added an inch of ride height all around and threw on some…
