Please provide the statute that gives a 13 year old legal protection from her parents cutting her hair.

Firmly disagree. I think Oz was a great, charismatic supporting character with a cute courtship for Willow, but they made a big mistake when they promoted him to main character and then gave him nothing to do. Joss Whedon went through a phase of promoting actors to regular status because he liked them, but then didn’t

I honestly think the only problem with the pairing was that Tara wasn’t Oz. And Oz was the best character in the whole series. I loved Willow and Tara. But Tara could never be Oz.

This is way good, Jia! A few scattered thoughts:

This is incredibly well written and well thought out. I’m sorry that your name pops up with such a terrible association, that must hurt but seriously great job on this piece.

Quick reminder, because it’s the internet: it’s totally okay to still like A Song of Ice and Fire, and it’s still okay to like Game of Thrones. No one is saying that you need to stop reading or watching. It’s okay to like things that have problematic elements, even when it’s as problematic as mishandling something

If you didn’t know until last night that Ramsey was going to torture Sansa from the moment he married her, you haven’t been watching the show.

When I was pregnant with my first child I had no clue I was pregnant until I was 5 in a half months along. I am not a stupid person. I had excellent sex education and a mother in the medical profession whom I could, and did, ask any sex or body related question to. Yet, here I was 21 years ago pregnant at over 5

I used to work for the tabloids, so it’s not a question of if I have a story, but which one I tell the Jezzies.
There was the time Dave Navaro refused to be interviewed unless I gave him a blow-job. He had just married Carmen Electra.

If you hate this book, you hate the whole idea of zombie novels, because EVERY book assumes that people don’t know what the hell they’re dealing with. Most assume limited pre-outbreak zombie media, and as a result, people strike out poorly until their killing methods are refined later on. This is also the ideas that a

Thank you for sharing how you’re too good for casual sex.

I was a shit disturber. The teacher loved it, though.

Hey, Millennials may only be 1-3% less racist, but we’re 87% more likely to pat ourselves on the back about it!

I have found Prince weirdly sexy since I was a little girl. Much in the same way David Bowie gave me the tingles in the Labyrinth.

That was fantastic.

Oh dear that Levi Pettit (it was Pettit by the way) press conference was like I can’t be racist just look at this tableau of black people my lawyers set up. I joke with my white friends that if they get caught doing racist shit, I won’t be their black friend at a press conference. I’m not kidding.

Truly, it is just what the world needs now: racism, with a heaping side of bitchiness.

So essentially, we’re not less racist we've just become more passive-aggressive about it. Progress?
