“That’s was MLK’s dream. Thats what he died for.”

Abrams isn’t that progressive. Why do you think Republican-lite Democrats would fare well? Who does that appeal to? Have you been paying attention to how much Democrats have been losing at all levels? The strategy Democrats have had since basically Reagan is to back moderate Democrats in swing districts/states. Do

Let me just say that as a college professor myself, I am seriously impressed with what an asshole you’d have to be, for how many years, to get 8,000 former students and colleagues to dump on you in a FB group. You would have to never let up on the trolling, not even briefly.

To be fair, the majority of criminology professors skew toward being progressive in my experience.  But the 30-40% that aren't are a lot louder.

I attended this school in the late 2000s/early 2010s; thankfully I never came across this dude. But he has definitely been the most hated professor on campus since even around that time. I even did a journalism assignment/project on his destructive ways. My professor grew tired of hearing about Adams, so I didn't get

How does “backed by the popular ‘liberal elite from Washington’” not apply double to McGrath? McGrath had 10x as much money spent on ads as Booker, for one, and that money comes from the same liberal elites outside of Kentucky. Plus, McGrath has showed up on late night shows like Seth Meyers and Sam Bee’s shows to

Any bets on what his first pity party book is going to be?

Does this mean no more Dilbert?  Aw shucks.

Another right wing professional gobshite who only says things to wind people up and make money from being so “edgy”

I don’t think Ashley (though she’s certainly not alone among Jez writers) understands how actual politics works, like with strategy and stuff.

She didn’t say not to vote for McGrath in the general, she’s just pointing out that McGrath is a boring moderate candidate and stating that it’s a bummer she beat Booker. Kentuckians made the easy choice and, especially right now, that sucks. Calm down.

McConnell ain’t losing so having this argument is just so pointless, but points for making me read “vote blue no matter who” the one millionth time this cycle.

McGrath’s status as a veteran and a fiscal conservative who opposes Medicare-for-all and free college and the abolishment of Immigration and Customs Enforcement means she appeals to the average Kentuckian far more than Booker’s Bernie-adjacent politics.

Truly. I cannot wait to piss on his grave.

The House votes on D.C. statehood Friday and is expected to pass the “Democratic-majority chamber for the first time in history,” but Mitch-ass nigga Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) has already vowed not to bring it to a vote.

The cognitive dissonance of both being vehemently against “socialized medicine” whilst having had someone else pay his medical bills is astounding.
