Insurance from AT&T isn't bad at all. A friend had her Samsung Focus wet and paid $50 deductible to get it replaced. Agreed. No real issues with delays. The few ones that happened were to technical reasons. Apple can push it out at the same time because there's only one handset.

In Brazil phones are unlocked, but it means instead of getting a subsidized phone, you pay an extra amount per month if you don't want to come up with cash upfront. In all, I don't mind signing a plan if I can get the phone cheaper.

I want to hear about someone implanting it on some more private parts, and using some oscilating device close to it - maybe I should patent this idea...

Don't think so. I love my Focus S. Not much difference in specs. But that price is way better. Or you may be lucky like my friend who got her old Focus wet, paid $50 insurance deductible and they shipped her the new Focus S because the old ones were backordered.

Because some people just want the phone that is 'free'. Hell, some don't even want smartphones because they don't want to pay for the data plan. For me, I don't want anything without a front-facing camera anymore.
