It was the last year we bought office installation in floppy disks (20 ?), and the first diskette had the installation key. SO, before doing a backup, I decide to install it just on my laptop - the virus messed up the disk formatting and I had to call and ask for a replacement disk.

I had it worse: a toshiba laptop that came with a factory installed virus. It was installed in their hidden diagnostic partition and couldn't be removed - they actually replaced the harddrive.

You can actually start typing anywhere on an empty spot on the screen and search starts up automatically.

H&S didn't work for me, but Selsun Blue did - there's several different ones, some with different active ingredients. I suggest trying them to find one that works.

Could tell right away. People actually stopped to help, instead of taking pictures and posting to facebook.

And if you ever convince your 'friends' to try it, please post it to youtube for our amusement. I bought a Jolokia sauce once - in small quantities (like a drop in a whole pot of chili), it's passable, but I really didn't like the taste that much.

And you can use manure to generate methane and power it up!

Awesome. And I'd add a warning: digital zoom isn't!

Worse to me is when a cable version is beeping half the time due to cursing, while people being hacked to pieces are showing in the screen. Case in point, some reruns of Crank... Death is ok, as long as you dont curse.

Yep, I thought you were referring to it. I really hope it was all a rumour. /* yada-yada-yada this comment is now long enough to shut up giz - yada-yada-yada */

I just can't get over the fact they had to make the aliens evil in the sequel. Still deciding if I'll watch it.

Saw it, loved the podrace in 3d. Ask if they have the collectible 3d goggles too.

It's not really why. A lucky mutation generated zebras with stripes, which caught fewer diseases. Natural selection ensured these would multiply faster. It's not intentional, as the article makes it seem.

Uh, so massage was a scam and now is not? While I agree that most cases are scams, lack of proof is not necessarily negative proof. It may only mean science hasn't figured out why things work yet. And then there's the whole placebo effect - if it works for you, does it really matter if it's fake?

It's sad when subtitles don't match what's actually being spoken. Maybe some of it is done based on scripts, before actual recording, because it has same meaning, but different words altogether. Unless it's 'live' captioning, and then you risk learning about Dick Cheney going to the hospital because of an enlarged

I did, but the text is misleading. It makes it sound as the feature didn't exist at all. It's just vimeo's uploads.

Windows Phone can already upload directly to facebook without any app, so this did not 'bring mobile uploads to WP'.

If you have onenote, WIN-S will capture a screenshot and place it in a notebook or clipboard.

I consider 'Where the wild things are' creepy and depressing. It should carry a disclaimer.

What a ripoff - the inside of his pockets are already showing - bad design. It will probably stretch in the knees and lose shape real soon. (OK, I'm really just trying to find excuses because I'd probably love wearing them).
