Yup, that about nails it. Unfortunately what bothers me about Kristen Stewart is she pretty much has the dullest personality this side of Kim Kardashian. I’m sure some of it is shyness or dislike of media spotlight, but it just comes across as boring.

And the Clinton State Department paid money to get more Facebook likes. These days I assume every organization is doing this.

Of all of Trump’s lies and exaggerations, Trump’s claim that the Apprentice was the #1 show annoys me more than anything. Yes, Apprentice was a top 10 show in the beginning of its run, but it was never #1 because it aired during the American Idol juggernaut. I’d love to Kellyanne and Spicer spin the numbers to tell me

Speaking of weak eras, nothing makes me smile more than Navratilova’s quip of “Steffi and the seven dwarfs” in 1994. The Seles stabbing the year prior left an incredible void in the WTA it didn’t recover from until the new generation of Hingis, Davenports, Venus, and Serena came along.

There’s a difference between “should’ve won” and “deserved to win”. Hillary should’ve won but based on how the campaign was run, she didn’t deserve to win. And a big part of that failure is because of Mook and Podesta. They made some terrible decisions on how to spend their giant war chest, especially in October. And

I really like Jennifer Garner but at this point I would pay her personally to stop saying “What’s in your wallet?” at least 7 times a day on my television. She must be making a fortune from Capital One.

I need to ask a dumb question about phishing scams. How did this guy get JLaw’s email address to send her the fake password change email? Did he just send out a blast to every variation of JenniferLawrence@gmail, yahoo, etc.. and hope one of those is actually her?

Until Glenn Close gets the Oscar she’s been cheated out of, Annette and Amy need to wait in line.

Agree about Streep completely. I know most people will blame it on Ruth Negga for taking the 5th spot but she was outstanding and by far the best part of Loving. It really wasn’t necessary to nominate Streep again for this performance.

There will only ever be one Linda Tripp.

That would be 1,000,000x better than Lady Gaga.

The kicker is most presidential scholars seem to give FDR a pass on the Japanese internment camps too. Or they don’t think it’s enough to outweigh the good he did. He’s consistently ranked in the top 3 presidents ever, usually 1st or 2nd. I consider the internment camps pretty much the worst thing a 20th Century

I live in LA and have my fingers crossed that we get the bid. I’ve never gone to the Olympics but if it’s in my backyard I wouldn’t even think twice about buying tickets to some events.

I do sign documents but I wouldn’t consider it cursive. It starts with a print M and pretty much becomes two giant ovals. You’d never be able to actually read my name from signature.

I’m mostly with Julianne on this, but I can accept your writing above. What I don’t get are people lamenting that kids aren’t being taught cursive writing in elementary school anymore. When I do write, it’s only printing. My cursive was always pretty awful and stopped using it as soon as I could.

Or being left-handed and having ink or graphite stained fingers along with smudged writing. Don’t miss it one bit.

What interesting careers they’ve had since ATWT. Clearly Meg Ryan had the much much bigger career from the late 80's through the entire 90's. But overall, Marisa Tomei’s career ended up being the more consistent and respected one. I’m still excited and intrigued when Marisa Tomei shows up in a movie. Can’t say the

My least favorite thing is someone trying to namedrop NPR in a conversation, like “I was listening to NPR this morning and heard...” I’m convinced people do that so others instantly think they’re smart and cultured, but I immediately think they’re pretentious doofuses.

I agree that genetics and luck play a factor. That’s why there are a few random people who smoked their entire lives and live to 100. And why a few random people like Jim Fixx and FloJo die tragically young.

That means Carrie Fisher is only 8 years older than you. George Michael’s manager just revealed he died of heart failure. While it’s a coincidence that two major celebrities had heart failure within a few days, it’s not surprising when you see how they treated their bodies through the 80's and 90's. It all catches up
