What We Do in the Shadows got a Best Series nomination last year along with a ton of writing noms. The actors should’ve been nominated as well. But it wasn’t eligible this year.

And this year, it’s hard not to think the spotlight will be on Serena playing in one of her favorite tournaments.

The most interesting one will be Nadal at the French Open in a few years. As he declines, he could be ranked in the teens or twenties or even unranked and still be a threat there. He could be a nightmare for higher seeded players.

Smart really was great on Fargo. She and Kirsten Dunst unfortunately lost that awards season everywhere. Smart also should’ve won for her incredible work on 24 as the first lady.

Wow. Her response to this is practically Trumpian. The only words she left out were “witch hunt.”

Not to mention that analogy fails to mention the true “usurper” on the men’s side, Djokovic. Nobody seems to like him, but Novak is about to pass Federer’s record of weeks at #1 and still could pass Fed’s 20 slams.

This article is spot on. The GA electoral votes weren’t necessary for a Biden win, but it sends a clear message about what proper organization in battleground states can do. Abrams has done a magnificent job in Georgia and it looks like it’s continuing with these runoff races. Even if Democrats don’t win, they’re

I loathed this movie when it was released. I thought Leo and Kate were acting with a capital A. Last year when people used this movie as the gold standard for a film about an unhappy marriage (in comparison to Marriage Story), I was reminded again that I just don’t get this movie. The one highlight and standout for me

Good luck on finishing the Vow. I found it to be a slog as it went on but I finished. However, Seduced coming right on the heels of the Vow is really tough. It took me 4 times before I could finally finish the first episode. I honestly can’t understand how people can distinguish the two series anymore. It’s all

That’s a great suggestion. I’ve had your same worries. Trump as the buffoon and clown president is easy to get people riled up to vote against. Pence is so insidious and hides his evil policies behind this veneer of politeness that it fools more people. He’s also so disciplined, like a McConnell, that he would be

Yup, agree 100%. My only interest in keeping Trump alive is purely strategic. MAGA would somehow spin Trump into a martyr even though it wouldn’t make sense. And the Republicans who hesitate voting for Trump will gladly vote for smarmy reptile Pence as president. Plus, I want Trump to witness how many millions of peopl

Cameron pretty much shrugged his shoulders and said, “This is what the grand jury wanted.” I’d be pissed too if I was a juror watching the AG lay blame on me personally. The impressive part is quickly figuring out what legal recourse was available to make this all public.

The sheer number of stories that came out in the days after his death of his generosity and kindness while he secretly battled cancer really was heartbreaking. He was a truly great person.

That’s great of Chadwick Boseman to do that. Of the horrible mess of 2020, I think his death affected me the most. He already had a wonderful decade of work but it felt like his career was just taking off.

I think it’s a pipe dream. Sadly, Democrats will have to take the L and move on. She will be confirmed before the election. I hope this fires people up to cause a massive blue wave in November. It won’t save RBG’s seat but we still need it to happen for the good of our country.

There’s a great weekly podcast you should check out called QAnon Anonymous. Three very brave souls dissect the craziness of QAnon. They just had a recent episode where they explored the Satanic Panic of the 80's.

First off, based on exterior shots, it looked like the train was a considerable distance from LA when Sheriff Cloud got on. She had countless hours to find Billy. And when they get to LA, I was expecting Billy to be apprehended by police, led by the sheriff. How did none of that happen? Did Sheriff Cloud not try to

Jay Cutler has made north of $100 million in his NFL career. I think he’s earned the right to decide he doesn’t want to work for awhile.

Denzel won an Oscar for Glory.

Seriously. I live in CA. I haven’t been to a polling station in two years but I’ve voted in every election. Switching to permanent vote-by-mail was life changing. It’s great to sit on a Sunday afternoon, fully research each candidate and proposition, make my choices and drop it in the mail.
