While I agree it’s silly to compare what Michael Jackson did for pop culture versus Farrah Fawcett, you must not be old enough to remember The Burning Bed. I was hoping to see my favorite robot in the comments! I’ll admit, this woman looks like a total loon to me but...if I could have a robot who looks like the Westworld hottie I’d probably consider it very seriously.

I loved Moonlight too, and I saw it after all the hype and winning awards. Such a beautiful, heartfelt movie. And I really liked Manchester (surprisingly funny for such a grim story) but like you, I’d place Moonlight higher.

Maybe movies are all about expectations. I thought the trailer for 20th Century Women looked kinda awful. But I watched a screener of it last night and surprisingly loved it. The characters felt very real and lived in to me. All the performances were great across the board.

What I haven’t seen mentioned is that this guy reportedly was holding his own kid in his arms as he was yelling at Ivanka. That’s the biggest asshole move. Was he using his kid as a shield like, “He can’t be all bad if he has a cute kid in his arms?”
