Houses I can understand because there is so much that goes into the value... especially older homes.
This is where jail time should come in for corporate crime. Fines, rebates, empty promises to not do it again just get passed on to the next bunch of consumers or taken as tax deductions. There is no cost to the owners/CEOs, it’s just an opportunity to screw people over more covertly.
What exactly isn’t “Practical” about it? it’ll get you from point A - B in EV mode for what like 40 miles? which is great, it’s smaller so it’s easier to park and maneuver in the city, it has sizable trunk space. What more is considered practical?
They should have done electric turbos like the new 911 GTS and thrown out the 1000lbs of extra hybrid nonsense. It only gained 103lbs over the old GTS and a BIG power jump via lag free electric turbos and also gained the increased exhaust noise from not being muffled by traditional turbos.
I freely admit that I’m only an armchair racecar driver, but I absolutely don’t believe you won’t notice an extra 1400lbs.
Speed is irrelevant when you can buy a Kia that’ll do 0-60 in 3.5 seconds. Quick is pretty meaningless these days.
The only reason it’s the best they could do is because the marketing execs think they need to posture to spec sheet dumbasses. I guarantee you they said it had to have a V8 and it had to be hybrid, and that’s why they were stuck with this monstrosity.
Just for comparison sake, the ligther F150 “3.5L PowerBoost™ Full Hybrid V6" is 5260 lbs meaning 130lbs lighter than a freaking M5. And the heavier version is 5606 lbs, so only 216lbs heavier than the new M5. And the heavier V8 F150 is 5143lbs, still lighter than an M5.
DO NOT rely on the dealer. Go to your own bank or credit union before you even start shopping and get a blanket approval up to whatever amount you and they are comfortable with. Worst case scenario, you might not be able to drive home with the car THAT very day. But getting you to is a good incentive for the car…
Crazy how ridiculously patient this cop is with this idiot. It’s not often I defend cops, but, this has to be the most reasonable officer I’ve seen...
Oh no, there goes his Trump campaign donation this month.
I think you’re greatly over estimating how much low level “influencers” and wannabe social media “celebrities” make.
Smells like collusion.
I’m driving around in a 2010 Tacoma. Gonna keep it til it dies. What is the point in dropping $50-$70k on a new truck if your current one works just fine?
We should also acknowledge the fact that 80s GM/Chrysler products will run like absolute dogshit for longer than any modern car will run at all.
Our own insurance advised us against just filing with them since they would most likely raise our rates for a claim.....
1980 is about the worse year to compare to for a couple reasons:
exactly! It seems to me like this is peak “shooting the watchdog because it keeps you up at night,” the problem is not the notes the problem is people behaving antisocially with their cars.
If they provided a phone number to call or an app where you can snap pictures of someone’s bad parking job and they get fined…
which begs the question, what’s the fine for actually parking like a fuckwit?
