Most people who don’t drive Fords know that you don’t have to do that because shifting into reverse while the gears are spinning doesn’t hurt anything. They’re straight cut and you’re not gonna wear them out.

I’m sorry, I’ve worked on Hondas and BMWs and that is by far the biggest crock I’ve ever heard. The Honda features bolts you can reach that also come out, and few if any parts require you to disassemble another system for removal.
