I know a guy with a Volvo C303. He doesn’t drive it because there’s a problem with one of the outboard gearboxes on the portal axles. He’s wealthy but a bit lazy about getting it fixed. I’m going to suggest he push the thing out on the road in front of his house and call for a tow and see how it goes.

Whatever happened to the Horizon? My mom had one that died in a very minor accident around 1986 or so and I’ve only ever seen two other ones in person in my life. But the Omnis were everywhere.

I saw the nicest Citation to survive the 80's the other day. I wondered how it was possible this car still existed and in such amazing condition. Easy, it was a V6. They paid extra for it so they took better care of it.

People of similar economic means from different groups would be proportionally very small, perhaps to the order of insignificance. Not to say that they don’t matter, but it would be difficult to draw any statistically valid conclusions.

There’s a difference between fast and quick. Our cars are quick, which is all you really need in day to day driving.  We might not have top speed on our side, but I know for sure Mr. GTI will bin it if he follows our cars too fast into a corner.

Well... to be fair, the Fit has a torsion beam rear with no sway bar, which causes pretty decent understeer on stock tires. A set of Sumitomo HTR A/S P02's 20mm wider than stock made a big difference but you still know which way it wants to go. It’s a very predictable car now though. On the other hand, I can thrash…
