I get angry every time I see the house in the GMC commercial with the couple in their late 20s/ early 30s living in a million dollar modern mansion and he buys them matching GMCs because her matching watches for the hell of it. Who is this supposed to appeal to? 

I hate how aspirational this commercial is.

Totally agree. Reminds me of the idea that people would vote for Bush the Lesser because they “could have a beer with him” - I don’t want a president I’m comfortable having a beer with.  I want a president so intelligent, with such a grasp of the issues, that I’m terrified I’ll say something stupid in their presence…

As long as she picked them, I am cool with it. She wore heels all through her pregnancy, and as crazy as it sounds, there are plenty of women who wear heels so often that they feel more comfortable in them (I know women whose calves hurt when they switch to flats!).

True, but I’d imagine she wasn’t wearing that dress for more than 30 minutes or so. And I doubt she ever sat down in it. 

All I can think about are the number of undergarments being worn under that white dress. I would have been TERRIFIED to wear anything white for weeks after birth. I hope royalty gets an upgrade from the giant pad and mesh pear underwear. 

I don’t really follow them much, but I’m so weirdly happy for them right now. I love her dress choice, her hair. They are both glowing. I would have opted for flats, but I also always opt for flats.

The unspoken problem with Mean Girls/Queen Bees is that is focuses only on relational aggression by girls. A study showed that boys carry out 2/3 of relational aggression and girls 1/3.
