I told my mom about it after watching the first episode. She asked about the cast so I started listing who played who. As soon as I said “and John Travolta–” she cut me off and said “I don’t know if I can watch that.”

Didn’t he do that O.J. mini-series not too long ago? On TV?

There were some great moments in Season 11 but for me, Chris Carter’s finale undid all the goodwill the other writers’ episodes offered. The only way I’d ever watch that mess again is if it got Mystery Science Theatre 3000'd. Maybe.

I have zero interest in Blake Shelton but hearing about him too much already this week is testing the little bit of goodwill he had to offer by being in the “Wishing Boot” sketch on SNL.

How long until a sorority girl named Madison uses this for the first dance at her wedding?

Sounds like one of Kramer’s friends we never actually saw on Seinfeld.

The greatest cold open ever.

Dianne Wiest is my favorite and she should be in everything.
