It looks like Friday Night Lights is going away too, so basically I’ll never laugh or cry ever again.

Tracy Does Conan was the first episode I really loved and worked as a gateway for friends who I wanted to get into the show.
Totally a racket for the you-wear-this-half-of-a-heart-necklace-and-I’ll-wear-the-other industry. ;)
Maybe even in commercials. “Good work on the picture slides, Carol. Let’s put these on the magazine website!”
It makes me a little sad when some women say “OMG I’m marrying my best friend!” because a lot of the time, they considered someone else their best friend before that dude came along.
*so attached. Garrrrr, I hate the time limit on editing here.
Yep. And this might sound pathetic, but occasionally I’d look up an old review of The Office or 30 Rock and actually read through the comments, even if they were seven years old. Sometimes I’d even get notifications that someone responded to something I wrote ages ago, and all of that was really nice. Now all the old…
How is it that I can tolerate Kinja on Jezebel but it is the absolute worst on the AV Club? I loved the AV Club and I don’t even want to go there anymore.
If only ten people supported him, that would still be depressing enough for me.
What kind of shit is this?
I need to tattoo “Do not read the comments!” on my hand to remind myself not to scroll down for idiocy and heartlessness.
I made the mistake of reading comments on some articles posted to Facebook about this. I know I should be used to it by now, but the callousness of so many of my fellow citizens continues to break my heart. Someone actually said “The good thing is that once the Dreamers are deported, they’ll never be able to come…
Well, this is awkward. I’m listening to the most recent episode of Talk Salad and Scrambled Eggs right now. I hope they’re able to record a new one soon.
You know, I think I heard about her performance in it from some podcast or another. I need to figure out how to watch that.
*Nanny G ;)
I wasn’t familiar with Steely Dan as a live band until I saw them in concert back in 2009 (they played the Aja album in its entirety plus a few other songs), so I was pleasantly surprised by Becker’s monologue during “Hey Nineteen.” He was great.
I’m probably the only nerd here who still loves Frasier, but I just rewatched an episode from the last season where Laurie Metcalf plays his first wife who is also a a children’s entertainer and is also super horny. She is SO funny. I never watched Roseanne and this is really all I know of her work, but just based on…
I too will never forget Donald Fagen busting out with: “Uptown, baby / uptown, baby / We gets down, baby / up on the crown, baby.”
I think all four actors on the show are very talented (I love that Megan Mullally). The show made me laugh a few times. Generally, though: faaaaaaaaar too hokey. I only got through the first couple of seasons back in the day.
I do. Or should I say...GUILTY!
