I watched the first season too. My favorite contestant was Goldie because she was hilarious and also finally got to make out with Flavor Flav and deemed it "gross." She's the same one who calmly sat out a crazy fight at the dinner table and asked "Did anyone try the chicken? I thought the chicken was lovely!" with a

1-900-OK-Face ("That's not even enough numbers!") gave me one of my longest, most belly aching laughs ever.

I've found a bunch of stuff broken up on YouTube if you just search for Night of 100 Stars. The tap dancing part has Christopher Walken!

As I understand it, it was a benefit or something for the Actor's Fund of America which helped the performing arts somehow? Not totally sure. And yeah, I can't imagine anything like this happening today. The kitsch levels were off the charts! So cringe-worthy but amazing.

And there's more where that came from. Fashion shows! Tap dancing! I love it so much.

Adding this to my collection of hilarious 80s YouTube videos I bust out whenever I need a laugh. Here's another treasured one.

You know, I recall my mom telling me she was reading it on the bus in her early 20s and getting so freaked out, she actually grabbed the arm of the passenger next to her. So maybe I should send this her way too.

SAME. I've made so many friends watch it. So many great, surprising performances. "You can't catch the wind!"

You rule too! It's definitely my favorite David O. Russell movie.

"It's my favorite part of a woman's body. The definition, the contours, the depth of the pocket."

Totally. It's in Sky Mall.

I haven't watched since Season 3 so it's totally possible he got worse, but I never hated Ted. He meant well and you're right, was a good friend.

Tom Sizemore for Joe?

Did she die from boredom?

What a perfect excuse to watch my favorite Target Women ever!

I'm pretty sure if I ever tried online dating and it actually got to the point where I went home with somebody, I'd text a friend his picture and address and say "If you don't hear from me tomorrow, call the police. Otherwise, don't wait up, wooooo!"

I still think that box of Samoas was great in Winter's Bone.

Maybe it's because I'm with fun friends and we're drinking a bunch of wine, but I mostly enjoyed the show.
