STARRED FROM THE FUTURE!
These people seem pretty bad at aiming so maybe not...
Word to the wise: if you get those nonlethal traps you really have to be on top of checking them every day or else they can turn into lethal traps pretty quickly.
CRY HAVOC AND LET SLIP THE DOGS OF WAR!
Amen to that! They are my favorite too!
This article couldn’t be more timely! My son is an avid gamer (11 years old) and I have never played a video game in my life. Like your kid, he loves nothing more than to regale me with all the inane minutia of his hours in-game and as much as I want to support him in something he so obviously enjoys, it might as well…
thankyouverymuchdon’tmindifido!
My first husband (from whom I have been divorced for 7 years) NEVER talked to me. He’d come home, go into his computer room, and go to bed hours after me. Shockingly, I felt disconnected from him and resentful of that fact. My current husband (married almost 4 years) talk to me at. length. about what he gets into…
Me, too! I usually eat 2 hard boiled eggs for lunch (along with a pita, apple, banana, Greek yogurt and string cheese) each day. We are now going on about 4 years of this and I never get tired of it!
He’d 100% refuse to pay the bill for the $5 milkshake.
Also a good trick for melting cinnamon roll icing so you can just pour it over the pan of rolls when they come out of the oven!
Agreed! Back in the early days of the pandemic, my husband and I ventured out to try to have our favorite thing: brunch with endless mimosas and bloody marys from a fancy pants restaurant in town. It’s what we do when we have something to celebrate, and at that time we had something to celebrate. The food was good,…
Same, I always figured it’d be $2000 total, $600 then, $1400 later. Honestly the part that is hanging me up at this point is the “if you vote this way the checks will go out the door,” pseudo-promise that we’d get them pretty much right away. Not a month or two later.
Awww thank you!
Haha fair enough. I do appreciate how you guys revel in the enjoyment of flavors, almost vicariously so! Thanks for letting me know what’s up with Recess though. I hope someone in my area sells it!
I am so excited you’re going to do this series of columns! I am not great with moderation so I am trying to dramatically cut back on my drinking (username notwithstanding) both for my health and to lose this pesky 15 pounds of what is almost certainly booze-weight. Might you possibly be able to include the calorie…
I got one of these for Christmas too! It’s such a fun, silly way to make the morning more fun. My 11 year old son likes to use it to froth up his cup of chocolate milk as well. Also, I am stealing your tea idea because it sounds divine.
I love popcorn and I love Dots...but never the two shall meet in my mouth at the same time. TBH I wonder about the combo of the sour patch watermelons but those are usually not as sticky as Dots are.
I saw the Dots in the picture and my immediate reaction was NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO THEY WILL STICK IN YOUR TEETH THEN THE POPCORN WILL STICK TO THE STUCK-IN-YOUR-TEETH-DOTS!!!! But I should have known that you were an aficionado and would know to avoid this pitfall.
