Procedure was to call for backup.  She had a police radio on her and her station was minutes away.  She was not in danger and there was no reason she had to go inside that apartment.

I mean, if the parts aren’t positively identified, then this scenario isn’t based on random parts picked up on the scene. The whole idea that it’s a Buick comes from somewhere else, either eyewitnesses or video.
