Thanks. I like to hit that area for lunch on my way in to work (rather than staying in the subway system and walking that long, depressing 42nd street transfer) so I’ll check it out.

Heh, maybe we are having a whole conversation about food now. What’s your banh mi place? I really like Banh Mi Saigon down in Chinatown, and Ba Xuyen out in BK Chinatown, but haven’t found any others that float my boat. I would def try yours if I haven’t already.
This is all true, but on the other hand the pizza is pretty good.
These are extra funny if you know what Shnippers is. It’s a vaguely depressing, slighty bougie cafeteria that serves hamburgers and tater tots.
instead of having to rely on the whims of the customers...
There are plenty of perfectly legit NYC restaurants that have gone “no tip,” including the whole Danny Meyer empire (Gramercy Tavern, Union Sq. Cafe, The Modern). Also, high-end sushi restaurants in NYC (like Sushi Yasuda) are no-tip in the Japanese tradition.
I suspect this is all because of the open warrant. Probably Grant was being vetted by the secret service and the warrant was discovered. That puts cops in a bind - they don’t want to not arrest him (because the guy’s not white so the rule of law is important), but they know that they’ll look bad if they do arrest him.…

You read/hear the whole quote, and you can tell it’s of someone for whom English is a second language.
A smaller menu was the key to McDonalds success decades ago.
He’s saying “I’m grateful for the small number of people I currently interact with online, as it gives a shred of meaning to my pathetic existence. But I used to make money and now I don’t.”
“Why isn’t this review like the other reviews on this site, which I think are all bad? Isn’t that a double standard?”
Poor Todd. The Bridge to Nowhere was inside of their hearts, all along.
Your mom’s probably weathering some extreme criticism at this very moment.
Judging by the number of your supporters on this site (which I have rarely visited) this is the poor man’s Qanon site.
It’s funny that he didn’t think about the ambiguity in all of this. On one hand, he probably does intend to say “this combination toilet / water fountain isn’t really like you imagine it.” But to most people it sounds like “I enjoy drinking out of toilets.”
Yeah, it seems to me that secular humanism is where the values and morality are at, these days. Conservatives are busy acting like cruel and selfish jagoffs and deriding anyone who won’t do the same.
Remedial question: Why does Johnson want a snap election? How could that benefit him at this point? I assume the answer to this question will also explain why parliament doesn't want him to get it.
pick up some random shit you find? what? Do you *actually* do this?
It was enough to almost make me wish for a McDonalds sponsored alternative showing how you could lose weight by eating a diet of grilled chicken sandwiches and salads from fast food places
