Yep, I once read that the ONLY factor that has been shown to reliably predict academic performance is relative affluence. What we are seeing in the Trumps et al is what happens when truly, irredeemably awful people have money.

Remember when saying “Trump will run the White House like The Apprentice” seemed silly and far-fetched? He hires random people that he knows nothing about, they inevitably fuck up in some way (though incompetence, disloyalty and/or hubris) and out they go.

Oh great, just because he OBJECTS to a comment you ASSUME he’s a MEMBER of a specific political PARTY. Nice blanket generalization, there, nazi. I mean, who are the real nazis, here. Is it the people who espouse an ideology that is similar to that of the real nazi party and like to make lots of “tongue-in-cheek”…

Also, the incoherent grab-bag of “results” strongly suggests that the author of the study is out of her god-damned mind. Proximity to organic fruit caused people to be more judgmental and simultaneously less likely to volunteer their time? Wouldn’t one expect the judgmental group to volunteer more out of their sense…

It’s (supposedly) the whole point of the second amendment. All these shooters are wasting their time going after random civilians - it’s like they are just squandering the right to bear arms.

Heh, nice list. I don’t have the patience to do more that skim this guy’s posts, but I’ll also note that he started out with a pretty broad swipe at millennials and ended up blaming his own illiteracy on autocorrect. How old is this guy supposed to be, again?

The miniseries was pretty good, I thought. Made it clear that OJ was guity as fuck but also showed why black folks didn’t buy it. And Sterling K. Brown is the best thing in it.

It’s the only way to be sure, though.

Yeah, I think most of the wackier Coen movies didn’t quite sit right with me the first time. (See also: Oh Brother, Burn After Reading). Ironically now the one I really want to rewatch on a loop is Lebowski.

Practical question: How do you clean the mushrooms for something like this?

Yeah, it’s aggression all the time, but it’s pretty low MPH and nobody actually wants to hit you, almost everybody is 100% aware of their surroundings and paying attention. I’ll take that over zoned-out suburban drivers any day.

Once I saw somebody composing music on a little casio-like gadget on the subway, and it got me all excited about getting creative work done in random places. Maybe if you had a shitty extra laptop you could edit your MIDI compositions while tubing.
