They let the CEO go and the stock price jumped up almost 3%.

Mostly good points.

I once owned a 1986 Plymouth Voyager.  Therefore I couldn't pass up the post.

Some people have too much time on their hands.

Great story. Thanks for posting that.

I find it intriguing.

Tesla gets a quick headline. If it was Ford or GM they’d have a full expose on 60 minutes or an evening news special with expert interviews and victim’s families being asked how they feel about the fatal accidents.

If Ford or GM were Beta testing something this far short of the capability the named product implies and was this significant of a safety issue, using the general public, the media would be apoplectic. There would be calls for criminal trials of the CEO and executive leadership.

To me this looks out of place anywhere.

James May needs a haircut. The 50+ year old rock star look is just not a good look.

If a drifting DB5 followed up with Gatling gun donuts is a bad movie I don't want a good movie.

I agree. I have yet to be offended by any vanity plate. Please don’t interpret my pointing out some irony as me being offended. They spent their money (I assume) on their cars and their vanity plates and they get all the pluses and minuses that come with them.

Beautiful. I hope that continues to work well for you.

How many panels? Pictures?  Latitude?

Early adopters of cars had issues. I’m sure they were smug when other’s horses got tired and they could keep going in their horseless carriages. But they had reliability issues, infrastructure issues, and technology issues. The roads were built for horses and not as car worthy. So it took some time.

Good point. If everything goes electric I was assuming they would just add it to property tax or license fees.  The government has to have their revenue. But tying it to usage would be the most fair.

Oh the irony of the Tesla owner smugness.

Sometimes when you are trying to be disruptive to the industry you only disrupt your own business.

Of course this was part of the evolution too:
