LOL

I’m not saying that the things he did align with the majority of the dem base, I’m saying that the things he did align with the platform he ran on. The dem base drank that “hope and change” kool aide without reading the ingredients first. FFS, I can’t believe so many people can acknowledge he governed like a centrist

Caucuses are a terrible way to vote, I completely agree. That being said, I expect Bernie to do well. He performed the best in caucuses in 2016. I would be very surprised if he didn’t come out the winner in Iowa this time.

Is that really how you remember Obama’s foreign policy? You have a hilariously edited version of it that omits all the bad stuff and broken promises, and there was lots of that.

He didn’t run on a progressive platform. He ran on the equivalent to national “Romney Care” which wasn’t A to begin with, it was a public option. He delivered the ACA. He ran on “clean coal”, which is a laughable concept itself, and delivered improved environmental protections. He ran on bringing back troops from

This is a perfect illustration of my point. Obama is still being dragged like he didn’t try.

Honestly, when so much of the immediate change will be dependent on executive action; I’m more confident in a law professor who specialized in consumer law making those changes in ways to protect them from the next Republican to take office.

Perhaps I’ve been too scarred by the false hope of the Obama years, when so much optimism and excitement and energy quickly curdled and went sour after candidate Obama became President Obama, and he abandoned the grassroots campaign that had powered his victory.

I really wish the artists selected for halftime could commit to a few songs and complete them, or even do half of them. The montage/mashup format that has been adopted for the past decade or so is very hard for some of us to track. It really hurts my ADHD.

There was so much depth in this performance that I missed due

I was just double checking on it, and it seems like this was a state party decision this year, not permanent. I was hoping we had completely scrapped it. Looks like we will still have a caucus to select the actual delegates we send though.

We really need to permanently scrap the caucus. For all the reasons in this

I’m in a suburb, so avoid the crush of Seattle proper.

WA state used to divide its electoral votes in the primary between a caucus and paper ballot, with a larger amount allocated from the caucus. I’m personally disinclined to caucus. I intended to go last primary cycle, but when the time came, I just couldn’t get past the social anxiety. I ended up just mailing in my

Holy shit! I watched it sporadically and missed that one. That’s so much to unpack.

Honestly, with all the think pieces done on Biggest Loser, a book could likely be written about the different types of toxicity and mental abuse in The Swan. Layers upon layers.

I somehow missed that one. The fact that this show format was done twice makes it much worse.

Yeah, the whole glam/contoured/HD ready look doesn’t bother me on other people. It’s definitely not something I would be comfortable with though. I would be fine, until I saw a stranger looking back at me.

He manages to make Rand Paul look lively and vivacious.

This guy reminds me of my dad, and I love him. It’s also the kind of thing he would do in this situation.

I can’t imagine the total mind fuck of having a completely new body and face sprung on you out of nowhere, surrounded by spectators.

I’m hoping these newly elected red state DINO’s cause the DNC to rethink the policy discouraging primarying incumbent Dems. It’s not worth it to keep these snakes if they can’t even stand up to the fasch.

My bad.
