Just wait until he either drops out, or Warren clinches the nom. I’ll give the benefit of the doubt to the idealist stans until then. But I’m doing it with heavy side eye.

He may very well still succeed in the courts. There’s still that bomb headed to SCOTUS. Which makes fixing healthcare an even bigger priority now that the bench is stacked his way.
How did you resist hitting said male aqquiantance over the head with your (partially*) empty beer bottle?
*Pro tip - Empty bottles are harder to break on things like the skulls of your enemies. About 2 inches of liquid at the bottom solves this weird quirk of physics nicely.
Well.... while I was living in Tulsa, I couldn’t escape that radio add for legal services that revolved around the catchphrase “I need me a lawyer!” delivered in the most drawly of drawls there ever was. I knew plenty of people who used the “gonna get me” or “gonna get me some” without intending humor. Hell, my own…
This tracks.
Oh, I was talking about all the colleges and universities in the area. The student body at Oral Roberts University may be a wash, but OSU, Spartan, and University of OK bring in plenty of liberal potential voters. Not to mention that the more liberal minded tend to concentrate in metro centers as a general rule.
Considering how many schools call Tulsa home, there are a considerable amount of liberal voters being left on the table. Unless they made it harder to register students locally since I left. You used to just check a box to register when you submitted the paperwork for your drivers license.
Oh I definitely believe that a privileged 1 percenter is concerned about how their spawn will continue to build on their inherited wealth. I’m just laughing at the fact they think we care about enabling their entitlement, and would think of casting our votes to help them keep stacking the deck.
On the wrong blog.
“There were a lot of things that, there were those in the administration who thought that we should do, and just as I spoke truth to power from the very beginning, it became clear that saying no, and refusing to do it myself was not going to be enough, so it was time for me to offer my resignation,” Nielsen told…
OMG the flaming over the “I’m gonna get a beer” video. I could tell it was coming from people who never spent time in OK. I can hear OK in her voice every time she speaks, in the choice of her words, even her mannerisms. The only people falling for this “East Coast Elite” BS are not from, nor have they ever lived in,…
The company is so much bigger than LV though. They own Sephora.
It’s really quite stunning how simple and effective this theory has been, and how well movement conservatism has hammered it into people’s heads. And all it required was just a subtle double standard that most people don’t even recognize until it’s consistently pointed out.
And even then, good luck getting them to…
I’ve found plenty of top rated products on Beautypedia that aren’t Paula’s Choice. I have skin conditions to work around, and that site has yet to lead me wrong. It’s also the reason I never jumped on the SL bandwagon. The whole line has stuff in it that will trigger breakouts for me after extended use. I don’t even…
I said as much a few months back and got flamed for it. I knew it was just a matter of time before she showed everyone her whole ass.
*sits back with bucket of popcorn*
I still don’t understand why anyone expected AOC, Tlaib, or Omar to endorse anyone else. Or wait until the primary for that matter. I’m still left wondering why this is news. I thought they had already endorsed Bernie until this became “A Big Deal”.
The only interest I have is whether this makes a major difference in…
I’m old enough myself to remember the bridge years between the cult of the sun, and the current discouragement against sun exposure. While I make jokes that my vampire lifestyle and obsession with SPF or 30 higher sunscreen at all times is the price I pay to avoid wrinkles; my avoidance of the sun is based in pure…
Logo anything is just needs to go. The pretentiousness is hilarious. Especially when one considers that the logo pieces in any fashion line are usually the lower end of their price range for the item in question, from Coach to Hermes. There’s no greater way to say “I’m rich enough to buy this $450 belt, but not the…
Over 40% of Bernie voters claim the most important thing to them is someone who agrees with them on the issues. But only 30% poll as Warren being their second choice. At least 10% of these “Ideologues” are lying about their ideology.
It’s the reason I did not want him to run in 2020. Not because of his policies; which I like. Not because of him; who I respect. But because he is the only candidate (other than Trump) that amasses a cult like following of really really nasty trolls who believe in personal destruction of anyone who is not loyal to…
I love how the rebuttal to the second choice stats is always “not all Bernie suporters”. Yet the arguments we typically see in the comments sections on Warren/Bernie articles for why he’s preferable to her are 95% ideological, and 5% DNA test.
I’m tired of this misogynist dance already.
