“Using another descriptor is not moving goal posts there was an awkwardness about those candidates.”

Yeah it is. Especially when your original premise depended on a completely different descriptor that’s unrelated. Find me the thesaurus that equates “intelegent” and “nerdy” to “wooden”.

You then continued to attempt

Other than oggling Jude Law, can someone who watches this explain the appeal? I’m not trying to neg it, I’m genuinely curious. None of the trailers seem to include enough substance to leave me with any inkling beyond “Hot Pope”.

So now it’s wooden personality for the prior dem candidates. Ok, I’ll give you that; though your original point was “intellegence” and “nerdiness”.

Honestly, I had to read Obama speeches, or view short clips. He was beautifully eloquent, and inspirational in written form. His verbal pacing drove my ADD into high gear,

Especially when he only has him by 1 point. Isn’t it better to illustrate how he’s no longer “blowing it out of the water” with the electability argument like they keep trying to sell?

I never cease to be amazed that this crusty assed, rotund, man baby sees himself as intimidating. It’s truly stunning.

Elizabeth Warren is the smart but distant

I’m even more annoyed that this is being trotted out so early than I was about Hillary being called “shrill”. There’s just no factual or optical basis for this when a candidate is known for personal calls to her small donors, and 5 hr long selfie lines. I detest media

Yeah, I’ve been doing that. Alot. Even today.

This doesn’t make sense when his website puts two of his three platform points as UBI for all (freedom bonds) and Medicare for all. Am I missing the part where he lays an income limit out for UBI or Medicare? Because it’s not on his site.

Like, I’m not here to argue a case for voting Wang. I really see him running for

TLDR.

Mondale appeared to be making overtures at the conservative religious community which we know in hindsight was bailing on dems for the GOP. I don’t remember much about Dukakis but that damned Neil Diamond song honestly. A summation of his platform points doesn’t scream policy wonk from the past. Al Gore didn’t come

I phrased that really badly. I don’t necessarily think that they’re no longer friends, more like I find it likely that the race itself will get to a point that they will have to take the gloves off. It’s been the nature of campaigning for the majority of my life, and I don’t see it changing. The idea that both entered

At the level of econ 201? Sure Mr Krugman. Here’s some links to research on UBI.

I repeatedly retracted a incorrect statement I had made about who owns ActBlue. I posted a link to an article about the entity I had them confused with. I made a statement about my Personal preferences on how I choose to avoid using systems like this for donating to campaigns, which you and others have tried to frame

So your premise is that increased income will drive demand for goods higher than supply. The proposed UBI is essentially the equivalent to poverty line per person. I find it unlikely that ensuring every American has poverty level income or better is going to be enough fuel for runaway inflation at that level.

Look, you pay act blue, their fee is 4%. They have people to pay, and overhead. That’s one transaction.

I posted a link that clearly describes the types of inflation and their causes. I don’t know how else I can help you in this regard.

So now the claim is that there’s no transaction fee between ActBlue and the account of the campaign you’re donating too? Even when you state in your same post that the only way to avoid a fee donating to a campaign would be to walk a cash payment in?

Sounds like you’re thinking of the wage price spiral (built in inflation). That’s a cost of production. UBI isn’t a cost of production since it’s paid by the government from tax revenues.

No. That’s not how it works.

Is there a fundamental failure of reading comprehension in the air? I could swear that I’ve pointed out repeatedly how adding middle men multiplies fees, yet people seem to be hung up on actblues fees as if they’re the only step. Weird.
