It doesn’t look like its set in the past though. And even if it is, it is not the setting that is set to be outdated, but the writing. And that writing was written in 2022 for a 2022 audience. So it is perfectly valid to call it out as not fresh.

People like it for Smash, because it’s what they grew used to and the Smash designers did a good job making use of the limited layout. For basically every other game it’s bad.

Fucking terrible controller

I’m fairly certain a lot of there products are just rebadged versions of the same generic hardware that Binbok, DOKOY, and countless other unknown Alibaba/Amazon resellers use.

I recently got a Split Pad, and while it’s more comfortable than the regular Joycons, it’s still not fully there in terms of ergonomics. I think the grips could still be a bit wider for easier grasp, and it’s weirdly bulky considering it also lacks batteries, rumble or gyro.

I’m always skeptical of “look at this AMAZING controller from (some weird company)“ posts on news sites and YouTube. There’s rarely the follow up “how it actually holds up after a few months”.

don’t risk your money. i got their pro split controller and it started having disconnect issues all of a sudden 3 months later. contacted support and found out they only warranty their products for 30 days and my only recourse is to buy a new one from them. not gonna spend 50 bucks every 3 months for a controller that…

I don’t recommend NYXI at all. i got one of their controllers and after a few months, it had connections issue. I find out later on that they warranty their products for 30 days. no more. They won’t bother with anything past “try updating the latest firmware” as a response and won’t support anything past that.
