GM will make money on the C8 in numbers. And with the supposed package they pulled off the numbers shouldn’t be a problem - even with shrinking sports car sales, this car kind of resets that based on it’s pricing.

with the standard version having a targa top all the redesign/tooling needed for a “full” vert is dumb. Sure there will be old/feeble ‘vette owners that can’t take off the targa top by themselves, but how many of these will actually be driving with the top down on the vert?
