Yea if you get into a tune, and delete if that's your sort of thing, a diesel will push big numbers.

I know the infotainment is a retractable style, but there has to be some sort of Chinese produced Android based substitute.

Exactly my first thought and would be my purchase

Diesels with 1000lb-ft are in 3/4 and 1 tons, not half tons. Half tons like the F150 EB and GM 6.2 are the speed demons.

I didn’t mean to suggest otherwise. Just the fact that 5000lb half ton trucks are bloody fast

Crazy that a half ton pickup truck is running very similar 0-60 as hot hatches

Wrangler 4XE was supposed to officially debut this year

There was a claim with the CTS wagon that they only needed to sell something like 26 units to recoup dev costs over the sedan

Basics of the EB trying to be efficient

I have general rule, don’t negotiate with terrorists or dipshits. An obvious lowball is a dipshit move whether you’re dealing with a professional like a dealership, or Craigslist

Wow someone’s testy. Take a breath little one.

Yea absolutely, but they were certified by Ford on 87 octane. Ford got flack for the 2.3EB Mustang rating it on 91. And also doesnt excuse the ECU AVG MPG calculation accuracy that most owners think is legit. 2% error is more reasonable. We’re taking a 3gal per tank discrepancy

I have experience driving 3 different 2.7 EBs, two crew cab - one XLT, one Lariat; and one XLT super cab (extended cab). Model years are 2016 (XLT SC) and 2019 (XLT CC & Lariat). All equipped with 4x4. Not sure what rear end is in them.

Nascar teams are mostly out of North Carolina and Kyle Larson dropped the N bomb during a virtual Nascar race last week

Luckily IMSA teams aren't all mostly based out of N Carolina so racial comments should be kept to a minimum.

The 2.7 will get diesel like mileage if your truck is completely empty and you have a tail wind.

This sounds like it’s just getting the factory 91 octane rating that the 2.3 Mustang gets. Which in the Mustang on 87 octane produces similar numbers as the Ranger rating is on 87. Something is funny here. Might be mostly paying $825 for a shitty K&N filter

Doesn’t mean new era Jalopnik staff doesn’t have it continually out for GM. Even on great news they have some degree of negative connotation. And weird jokes read even worse.

Moonlight at GM Authority, all you need to succeed is the link to GM’s press page. Spelling, coherent sentence structure, and general knowledge based opinions need not apply.
