Yeah, this exactly. Everyone who just parrots out the “wall street is so dumb, they’re not seeing what is clearly in front of them!” really need to see that yes, while Wall Street does sometimes react in ways that don’t make sense on the face of it there is always reason behind it. All car makers aren’t valued

Its impressive until you see that they still arent turning a profit. They literally sold nearly 100k vehicles last quarter and still probably lost at least a few hundred billion overall

Sure, they can deliver hundreds of thousands of cars, but they still arent making a profit and that is a huge concern because eventually, unless they dramatically change their product, demand will fall off at some point

All he had to do was say, “Our goal is 90,000 cars (7500/month)“ and their stock would’ve had a nice little bump in the opposite direction. Their stock is over-valued anyways and conservatism/discretion is not Elon’s style.

You’re delusional.

Smartest guy in the room.

It’s so perfect. I imagine the driver was like “yeah...no...I’ma head out”.

Because the govt is lazy and won’t outlaw this shit.

Why is walking to your car such a big deal?

My favorite is the second car in the first video at the 2 minute mark. The one what just baaaaaacks away when the driver probably noticed that there was no one in the Tesla.

Remember everyone: Full Autonomy by next year.

Some day 30 years in the future, we’ll hopefully look back on Elon as the charlatan he is. Also, the fanboi comments about the videos being faked...

The US is situated about 7500 miles from Iran. Iran has never directly attacked the US. The Shah was not a US “ally”, he was put in place by CIA facilitated coup that overthrew the elected government. He was a murderous ruler who tracked and killed people around the world as well as in his country. He was put in

They are the most unreliable cars built in the last 40 years

Understand, not making money due to capex is not the same as selling at a loss. I would expect them to post a negative quarter again with the China factory and expansion at Fremont and Sparks for Model Y and the Semi productions. Additionally, they are doing a lot on the battery side of things. The time to worry about

Tesla is not making money, and will probably go under eventually, but this is true of like 50% to 75% of every going concern right now. The market has been awash in cheap borrowing since the beginning of the century and as long as you make those interest payments, you can keep even the most poorly run business afloat

That “miracle quarter” has been deeply dissected in the financial community.

Fire Musk.

Difference being that the Chinese and US markets for EVs are now shrinking as the Early Adopter cycle has run its course.

You gotta hand it to this guy. No one would suspect a $724 charge on their credit card/bank statement to some random dude. And it’s not like you can trace it back to him anyway. What a genius plan!
