Consider the fact that it’s entirely possible - even highly likely - that someone within one of the dev’s social circle disclosed their self-harm or worse, took their own life - and then tell me it’s ‘utterly bizarre’

It's entirely possible that someone on the dev team had someone close to them self-harm or take their own life, or have someone in their extended relationships do so. 

Would be a lot more interesting if they had actual furries trying to date non-furries.
