I drank them when I was a wee lass but they weren't called Huggs...and the purple one really was awesome.

Oh, I am right there with you. I have seasonal allergies (thankfully not bad ones) and right now I'd gladly take a pollen-bomb to the eyes if it meant that I could be warm again.

When I was in high school we actually had debates over whether it was pronounced "Nir-vaaah-nah" or "Nir-VAN-uh." How cool you were was determined by your answer, ofc.

My gym had a dress code too, though it was pretty straightforward...no short-shorts or bikini-type tops for women and (I think) no short shorts for men either. TBH I was mostly concerned with people not wiping down the machines than I was with whatever they were or were not wearing.

If anything other than Beliebers or TeamBreezy wins this, I'll faint from shock. :p

I have saved this .gif and will look at it every time I need to cheer myself up. I'd give you 100 more starts if I could. :D

I hate "springing forward", it always takes me close to a week to adjust. This year I do have the Monday and Tuesday off as vacation days, though, so I hope it won't be too bad.

I'm Middle Eastern and even I have trouble with falafel. It can be great but unfortunately most of the time it's a soggy, mushy, under-seasoned mess. FWIW my aunt makes amazing falafel...other than hers, I never really eat it.

I logged in just to recommend your post because I almost cracked a rib laughing. I'm not plus-sized myself but my mother is and, since I often buy her clothes for her bday and Christmas, I am baffled at the style choices that I find in the plus sections. There's nothing wrong with wanting a cupcake (or owl) top now

I actually really enjoyed Gravity but I didn't go into it expecting to be knocked onto my ass gasping "oh my gawwwwd that movie changes everything!" I liked the fact that it was relatively short and - for me at least - very stress inducing. Would I call it best picture? Nope.

I could not agree more. It's crazy cold here today and super sunny and if one more person tries to cheer up my winter-hating ass by saying "at least it's sunny!" I might hit them. Yes, the sunshine is nice but at the same time it's still goddamned cold out and super windy too, so they can cram it with walnuts.

This +1000! I get so frustrated when I read about so-called Christians pulling this kind of sh*t, trying to hide behind their religious beliefs as an excuse for being racist or discriminatory or sexist.

I know, I can't wait to read the excuses that the 'Muricans are going to come up with. In the meantime, I'll be setting my alarm for the gold medal game on Sunday.

I know that I would never pay good money to have someone bellowing at me and then snidely implying that I didn't try hard enough (or "modify our poses" or whatnot). That said, I can see how some people would use that as motivation...whereas for me, it would just piss me off and make me want to hurt someone.

I would comment on your post but my office has blocked all video (YouTube and etc) so...yeah. A star for effort, I guess?

Your loss, because good poutine (and I mean good, not the crap they serve in McDonald's or weird stuff with freaking mayo on it) is delicious. Heck, even Anthony Bourdain likes it. Do you want to argue with Anthony Bourdain? ;)

The "lady" doth protest too much, methinks.

Oh yeah? Well...Americans are fat and get scared of 2 inches of snow and think baseball is an entertaining sport.

God, I love Kate Beaton...another Canadian.

If I had the money I'd pay you to burn down the Skydome. And the ACC. And maybe Rob Ford too. (And to whichever spy agency might be reading this...kidding! Kidding! I swear!)
