Seriously...a mace gun? Mace?? Do they expect the losers to attack the winners and wrest the award out of their hands?

Oh, that's not a bad thing. I kinda wish it had stayed burned down (says this born and bred Montrealer.) :P
No joke, half of my office - here in Canada - is already talking about whether or not to call in "sick" on Friday. I'll be curious to see how many of them actually do.
From what I heard the results are only used down to the hundredth but the time itself can go to the thousandth...but it's irrelevant as it wouldn't change the results because the event itself stops at the hundredth.
Despite being Canadian I hate winter (I can never seem to get warm) and though my city hasn't had nearly as many snowstorms as the US it's been b*tch cold. And I am sick of it, sick to freaking death of it. Last week I was walking home on half-cleared sidewalks, slipping and trying not to fall on my ass, and I stopped…
I love dogs but I still recoil when one starts to lick my face like that. I honestly don't know why I do it - I'm not at all afraid of dogs - but yeah...if one gets too close to my mouth, I will back the hell away.
I live in Canada and was honestly so freaking surprised when I found out that these weren't legal in the US. I mean...what? I felt so bad for my American friends for being deprived of them.
I love our ("our") uniforms this year, I love the black and red and the fact that it's understated and clean. I've been coveting the scarf - seen in the bottom right of your top pic - for a while now but I can't justify spending money on it when I have like...18 scarves at home.
I binge read all the time, I tear through books so quickly that I have 4 bookcases filled to overflowing. I would also second the recommendation for the Masters of Rome series, it's one of my favorites and I love historical novels so I've read tons of them.
I have had several cases of pinkeye / conjunctivitis - though thankfully the last time was over a decade ago - and all I can do is wince at this pic. Bob, stop rubbing your eyeessssss!
Hahahaha, the same sort of thing happened to me; I'm 5'7'' and at my skinniest was 119 lbs (and yes, I know that was too thin) and a family member said that I was starting to look like Skeletor. Needless to say, I did gain back a few pounds so hopefully now I don't look like I'm trying to kill He-Man.
I actually didn't see it that way, but I get what you mean. FWIW I think this is a great post that shows that a strong, beautiful woman doesn't have to be stick-insect thin to be amazing (ballet dancer or not). My body might not look the same but I love it regardless. :)
Oh my gooooood, this explains everything. It's like...the universal theory I've been looking for.
Seriously, the one in the middle is so gorgeous! Never mind that I'd probably just end up wearing it around my apartment, I want itttttt.
Poor you, that must have been awful. I'm super paranoid about food going bad but then I have had some iffy experiences with questionable mayo and the like. I remember once opening my nearly new carton of milk and sniffing it only to recoil in horror because it smelled like several somethings had died in there.
I feel for you, I have a similar issue with 3D and if I have an option I usually avoid it. I get blinding headaches after a while, especially if it's a movie with a lot of explosions / special effects.
I saw it with my mother and my aunt and there was absolutely nothing in it that would have made any of us blush. Aside from a few sexy scenes - clothes on - there's maybe a bit of side boob and cleavage and that's it. Honestly, there's probably more nudity on TV nowadays.
I actually saw it in "regular D" and it was great, I loved pretty much every minute of it. I'm sure it's much better in 3D - from a visual perspective, at least - but it's not like it's a bad movie if you don't see it in 3D.
