I think it had to have been photoshopped. I mean, it's so tiny that there's no way that the actual bits and bobs could be covered, never mind pubes (assuming she had them). It's funny as hell because the whole suit looks like it's about 18 times too small for her.

The dress is totally famous, it's true. And it definitely did make her career in the sense that it transformed her from "just another pretty model girlfriend" to "holy hell, who is that woman in that dress?"

Oh gawd, this +1000!

Totally agree, I love JLaw to bits - I like to pretend that she's the little sister I never had - but Lupita was robbed. I think I nearly choked on my jellybeans (yes, I was eating jellybeans) when they announced Jennifer Lawrence as the winner.

It is a burden, for sure. I mean, my skin is ickier now than when I was a teenager, lol. I'll definitely look at my diet - my sister in law is a dietician so hey, might as well take advantage! - and who knows what might happen?

Thanks so much for the suggestion! I've also been to see a dermatologist but wasn't thrilled when he mentioned Accutane (due to some of the side effects I've read about, I'd rather not try it). I never thought of going to a facialist, but it makes sense! I shall get me there indeed. :)

I think I'll get this book too, if only to see what she says about her acne. I have adult acne too and it really gets me down sometimes, so maybe I can pick up a few ideas here.

This honestly makes my anxiety spike, I hate seeing cats and dogs outside when it's so frigid. My old fart of a cat won't even go near my patio doors right now, I can't imagine the poor thing being stuck outdoors waiting for someone to come back and let him inside.

I liked Wheel of Time, didn't love it. I found it really bogged down a lot by book 7 or so, I only finished it because of the nostalgia factor (I started it when I was 16 and finished it at 36, lol). Also, some of the characters are flat-out annoying and a few of the women are more than a little stereotyped.

I totally agree with you. I've flown a lot - though I try to avoid winter travel as much as possible - and have had to put up with long-ass delays. What always pissed me off was the horrible customer service that went along with the delays.

I have Sorels too - Catherine the Great - and I love them but man are they heavy! I have a decent walk to and from my bus and by the time I've arrived my legs are tired, lol. I actually got a second pair of winter boots that are way lighter (a different brand) just so I could alternate and give myself a break.

Exactly. I've had my current coat for 4 winters now...it's getting a bit ragged but you'd have to pry it out of my (literally) cold, dead hands.

I have to layer too (I get cold so easily and stay cold for a long time) and nothing beats Merino wool for that. Alas, I will not give up my down coat because it's the only freaking coat I've ever worn that actually keeps me warm when it's 30 below and the wind is howling.

Yeah, I'm also having a hard time agreeing with this. I mean, I'm not going to clutch my pearls and gasp "won't somebody think of the children!!" but it is a rude gestue, at the end of the day.

Yep, they really did. I think even they realized how horrible that was because they've never dropped in since.

I've been in my current apartment for 15 years now (egad!) and I think I've had unannounced guests 3 times. All three times they showed up without anything in hand, which didn't really bother me...except for the last time. Two girlfriends of mine dropped in one Saturday and proceeded to eat my entire box of grand cru

Ohhh, I hope that's the case, because one of the reasons why the Catholics I know are still a bit on the fence is because of the pedophilia scandals. I am crossing my fingers that Pope Francis does keep up the good work - so to speak - because I think he could have a massively positive impact on how people see

I'm very indifferent when it comes to Tyra Banks but I find it slightly hypocritical of a woman who hosts a show looking for the "next top model" to be in this commercial. I know she's often been one to defend her body / her weight, which is great, but come onnnnnn now.

I swear, if it weren't for online shopping I'd be curled up in a corner by now. I don't do well in large crowds - I either get super anxious or ragey - so I did about 99% of my shopping online. The only exception was when I bought my sister in law's gift, I went to the store because I wasn't sure about the sizing of

I am the same, lol. I have cut down my consumption of sweets a lot (I used to have a can of Coke / Pepsi / Dr Pepper, etc a day, now I'm down to 2 a week) and since I've cut back I find I appreciate it even more. Had a bad day at work? Grab a slice of cheese pizza, some onion rings, and a Coke and mmmm...all's right
