Your point is important. Most Europeans and Americans I’ve encountered who have engaged in warfare would never glorify it. The Israelis and Japanese, on the other hand, understood what it meant to be a warrior and had a healthy understanding of their place there.

Extremely well put. Thank you for articulating it so well.

Many consider the subject of this type of “art” to be propaganda. I appreciate their opinion...I, however, don’t share it.

Outstanding! You’ve earned it...just don’t let it get too boring too quickly!

Outstanding pics! Thank you for letting all of us into this world.

Don't show this to the Air Force...they'll give it to the F-35 pilots, have them cut a hole in the canopy and...oh God!...the A-10 is FINISHED!

Mark,

I wish I could claim credit...they are public domain pics from the Wiki entries for these two remarkable pilots.

P.S. Harsh, please post your pic here showing you standing next to the aircraft in which you earned your DFC and Air Medal.

Awww...somebody needs a hug!

Thanks for that! Take care.

I should have written that last sentence of #1 like this instead:

Both. If you look at many photos of F-105s, for example, going into Vietnam, they are almost always in formation.

Harsh...I can’t decide...were you weaned too early or were you on the nipple way past optimal recommended breast feeding duration?

While I appreciate your opinion, I respectfully disagree. Had the lead pilot topped out of his loop too low, with no mechanical issue contributing, a similar result would/should have occurred.

...and neither do we need to give our Congressional reps and senators everything they demand for their home Military Industrial Complex(es).

No one...just a phrase.

To emphasize your argument for “trust,” one need only remember the 1982 Thunderbird crash in the Arizona desert where 2, 3, and 4 followed their leader into the ground.

What an amazing woman!

Well, let me add to your collection of of those telling you...if only for the record, the world needs to hear the enlisted story.
