While the Republican party still has huge issues and has been far from cooperative in many things in the last couple of years, conservatives were not protesting Obama’s election.

Bannon and Priebus will continue the effective leadership team they formed during the campaign, working as equal partners to transform the federal government, making it much more efficient and productive.

Bannon and Priebus will be teammates, and have always been teammates.

It’s a shrewd move going with Preibus as chief of staff. Most media outlets will only report that and ignore Bannon as his wormtongue.

I immediately thought of Van Jones when this was announced. Fox News was basically able to single-handedly get him out of a relatively low-profile role in the administration, but Bannon gets this job and it’s likely that nothing significant will happen in response. It’s disgusting.

In 2009 Van Jones was forced out of a job in the Obama administration for making controversial statements in a prior life. All in the game I guess. But why is it ok to elevate a person with radical views now? Are people saving their moral outrage for the war on Xmas?
